Dreading it, from starving to discipline to lack of sleep to sehri and ensuing heaviness, to pakorasssss. And most importantly the set routine and punctuality until the Ramadan is over. Wow, Imma model Muslim!

Kind of dreading it because it’ll be my first Ramadhan on my own :bummer:

It is one of the blessed month. I observed that many of my wishes accepted in this holy month. therefore I am kind of excited. Yes, it also fact that first week is tough but after that I enjoy it more and more and obviously this month also allows me to mingle with community more closely. :)

i am excited, indeed! this helps to get quality family time together at iftaar, dinner, saHoor...food is fattening and you tend to eat more in a short period of time because of short nights in Canada.

days are long and hard but nights are so hectic...within a span of 7.5 hours we have to do iftaar/maGhrib, eat dinner, do 'ishaa/taraaveeH and then sleep a few hours then get up again at 3:50 am for saHrii...not enuf time to relax before heading to work at 8 am.

^ Yea. Even with all the rigour, when it is ending, I get sad and miss the discipline that it enforced.

Looking forward to it... except not being able to drink water in this heat is going to kill me the first few days. :(

Looking forwards to it in a way, but dreading waking up at 3am to eat breakfast... At least I'm not working this year, so I won't be so tired. Plus, I'm gonna have to recycle all my old clothes for the iftaris :/

Yeh, true. Here i am worrying about the heat and I have the luxury of being indoors and staying cool. :bummer:

Was dreading it.......but kept a roza this past week and dare I say it wasn't too bad........

Ramadan is always an exicting time of year!
