The casualties took place after the fourth floor of a building in Lahore’s Anarkali Bazaar caught fire.

Whats up with so many fire incidents these days. Just two days back there was a big fire in Karachi’s famous timber market and today it happened in Lahore and it turned worse with 12 deaths so far with many injured.
I’m really not sure how quickly the help comes in but they have to be on the top of it to minimize the casualities

LAHORE: At least 12 people have died after a fire in a building at Lahore’s Anarakali Bazaar, DawnNews reported.
The district coordination officer (DCO) confirmed that at least 12 people have died as a result of the blaze.
“Most of the people died as a result of suffocation and not from the blaze itself,” the DCO said.
He said the fire enveloped the entire building within “four to five minutes.”
The cause of the fire has not yet been ascertained, but the DCO said that a short circuit may have caused it.
Rescue workers said they had pulled out 12 bodies from the building. The bodies have been shifted to Mayo Hospital.
While speaking to DawnNews, an official confirmed that the bodies had been brought to the hospital. He said the dead included one woman.
The official said that one injured person was out of danger but had suffered 15 per cent burns on his body.

They always come it numbers, one after they other. 
Even past incidents were the same where many fires would break out in a row.
Sounds like organized arson to me.

And there was dozens fire in Timber Market Karachi , Often happens , Inside old city , residence and commercial activities inside lot of wood

One,Nobody should politicize the tragedy of both human lives and businesses. I think its totally inhuman to do that
Second, this has to be deeply investigated if the timber market thing was done on purpose. It was a big business venue and it can easily be related with “bhatta”

But remember its PPP which is govt right now..
I'm not blaming anyone as ofcourse I dont have enough information. But this is a huge loss. Timber market contributes a lot in Karachi's economy.
Same goes for lahore incident as well

God forbid, could it possibly be that someone overheated something or a fire induced from poor electricity system? Wires lying around?

PPP has been 'ruling' Sindh for 40 plus years and yet Pakistan's all important city doesn't have half decent emergency rescue services. Poorly equipped fire brigade is one the main reasons why so many people have lost every penny and possibility of their livelihood, and they are forced to sleep under the open sky amongst the remaining ashes of their homes and shops. Just imagine the sheer trauma? Their children cannot visit country because of 'security threats' and others children are forced to sleep on the roads? Do these vultures have any humanity left in them?
This party after 40 years unchallenged and unregulated rule is utterly and completely immune to any kind of criticism and pressure. No amount of public pressure and criticism will make them mend their ways because they know they will forever remain in power by hook or crook.
Shame on people who support such sickening mafia.

Malik Riaz announced Rs 10 Lakh compensation for per family of Timber Colony victims. Where on earth is that slimy Sindh Government? Where is that morbid marsoo marsoo crowd?
Malik Riaz announced relief package for flood victims, Thar famine, funds Pakistan hockey team's WC preparation camp, contributes towards hospitals, builds mosques and universities. Let's just make him the Prime Minister of the country?
