Writing in the short hand, gramaticaly incorrect, Internet lingo style makes one appear to be illiterate. I don't think it has anything to do with being born in America. There are plenty of people on this forum who are not and raised in America whose written command of the English language is excellent, thus making them enjoyable to converse with.

Same here. I can’t stand it. I expect that from morons on Youtube, but I expect more from people who actually can spell.
