Im soooo happy to see this thread.
But i expected to see somethink like how they misspell english words… like “gym” would be spelled “jim”. Or stuff of that sort. ![]()
But yeh… typing with numbers, horrific grammar and spelling makes me wish i could melt down every keyboard in Pak.
Re: Youth of Pakistan and their spelling!
Oh gosh, it's not just Pakistani youth! American/brit/every other ethnicity does that.
what really gets me? is when so-called "educated" and "professional" "adults" talk/speak as if they're little teenagers texting all night long..now that's strange to me

Re: Youth of Pakistan and their spelling!
What about that new breed of youth who put an X into their names? Zainab becomes Xenab.. Zulfiqar becomes Xulfi, Sana becomes Xana ... I find that annoying
Re: Youth of Pakistan and their spelling!
^ oh em jee i was jsut about to mention that.
how the hell does x = Z?????? retarded!
Re: Youth of Pakistan and their spelling!
Ok, this really bothers me. When ever I go on FB my cousins, people I know from back home, they all (or the majority of them) have this weird incorrect style of spelling. Just now I saw this girl write this "Yar msm lvl ha lhr ma ajj" ... Someone PLEASE tell me what this girl is trying to say!!! The funny thing is that her Pakistani friends knew exactly what she meant. One even commented "Han yar sch ma mza agya" ... I mean REALLY?
What is up with the Pakistani youth and spelling? Writing cuz instead of because, wut instead of What and even Urdu words like PA instead of Pe .. Ma(Mein) Ha (Hain) etc etc.
I've noticed that this just started a few months, or max, a year or two ago. Is this some new trend? Please someone make it stop.
Btw, I am NOT saying all of Pakistan types like this. But I've seen quite a few people doing this.
its so easy to write such english. Just remove every vowel in every word.
Jst rmv evry vwl n evry wrd
