You're invited to a gay wedding..

Re: You're invited to a gay wedding..

Why not. Like someone earlier said, i doubt extending your compassion to something/someone beyond the strict guidelines of what the Quran dictates will be seen as a sin. =/

After all, they are humans and humanity is big in our faith. Attending their wedding may be seen as supporting the 'gay cause' - but meh, to each his own. It's about your intentions, are you there to be polite cos someone invited you and they're good friends? Or are you there bcos you're secretly gay?

TBH - after saying that (i was about to delete above written) - it's such a slippery slope question. =/ Either way that you answer, you're offending/causing some sort of controversy. I think the best thing, rather than say hateful/negative things, would be to live and let live. When it comes time to be judged by Him, we'll see what happens, right?

Re: You're invited to a gay wedding..

1- You again used the word not ALWAYS. Who asked about "always" ?

Either say it is NOT about sex or about sex. Why beat around the bush? Pun intended.

2- And please post the statistics of more than 1/3rd gay couples not even having anal sex.

3- Who is lashing out gays?

4- There are a whole lot of people in this world who do not approve of gayism and they sincerely feel bad for these individuals, pray for their good lives but that does not mean gayism should be exposed to their children as a good act. People do not want to have their children to learn what they consider wrongful act.

Where is the sensitivity for the majority population in this world? Why do gays have to be adamant on others accept them as 'normal'?

5- You mentioned something about pedophiles being mentally sick and proof is that their brain is different.

Isn't this the same argument gays make to be accepted as 'normal'? They try to bring argument since they have so called 'gay genes' and biologically they cannot help but being gay.

Tomorrow if pedophiles come and say we can't help it, it is in our brain what would you say?

If one is mental disease then why not other? :)

Re: You're invited to a gay wedding..

Why would I be amused over someone's divorce?

And why would I be outraged over someone's marriage?

You don't make any sense.

Re: You’re invited to a gay wedding..

  1. lol. Um, maybe because there isn’t a one-fit-all answer to everything? Why would I say it’s about sex when that is simply not the case? Also, your ‘pun intended’ pun was a fail because it wasn’t relevant. :halo:

  2. Look up Dan Savage, he’s a columnist for The Stranger and reading it, you may learn a thing or two so you don’t make baseless arguments when you clearly dont know what you’re talking about. Your ideas dont go past your environment and surroundings. Clearly, you could use a broader social circle.

I’m not gonna bother even acknowledging the rest of your “questions” because it’s repetitive and frankly you’re not capable of “deciphering” what is quite basic.

Re: You’re invited to a gay wedding..

When cornered in to an argument, people say " I am not gonna bother answering" Innit?

Why is it that a simple concept difficult to get that gayism is abnormal, unnatural, anti-social as well as in majority part of the world illegal is beyond any reasonable mind.

For now, please prove me wrong that it is not unnatural or abnormal. Take a best shot. I bet you cannot!

We can go further discussing anti-social and illegal parts later.

(BTW: People are not anti-gay. They are anti-gayism as an act)

Re: You're invited to a gay wedding..

Implying that everyone believes in some sort of a religious institution. If someone does not follow a religion, or *your *religion, they are not bound the alien rules of a random belief so I don't see how your statement is relevant to the argument.

Re: You're invited to a gay wedding..

A very nice example of tolerance exhibited in this thread, and befitting your nick, Mr. Monk.

Re: You're invited to a gay wedding..

The more graphic and dirty language appears to be used by folks who are more "religious" to describe some of the "behavior"

This is not an attack on religion, but on the hypocrisy of those self-professed guardians of religions. Or should I call them "mo-fo"s to borrow the Monkster's choice phrase.

Re: You’re invited to a gay wedding..

I’ve noticed most Americans guppies are in favour of attending the wedding. Interesting. :hmmm:

Re: You're invited to a gay wedding..

you can pay people bazillions of dollars and convert them into ahmedis then why not the gays...
if people have the heart to convert their religion then wth is sexuality

Re: You're invited to a gay wedding..

Notice I have not brought religion here and yet people cannot prove gayism is right. :)

Re: You're invited to a gay wedding..

are u gay?
there is no way a muslim can support acts/behaviors that are clearly forbidden in their religion.
yes, people should really read the quran to understand it and not just read it for the sake of reading it .
there was an entire community that was doomed because of homosexuality. and i will not be surprised if it happens again

Re: You're invited to a gay wedding..

Yeah I'm gay.

There was a whole community (bani israel) was doomed because of being ungrateful, no one mentions them so why the extra hatred towards becharay gays (most of them don't even know about Islam).

islam tells us to hate the sin not the sinner. So if you can't show them any compassion then no need for damning them either.

Re: You're invited to a gay wedding..

Let's try another scenario per your logic (ahem!) above. Assuming you're a straight man, it should be as easy to "convert" you so that you're now attracted to other men.

Re: You're invited to a gay wedding..

"some random belief" do more for people then taking them to haven.
If you can't appreciate that yet, try expanding your horizon.

Re: You're invited to a gay wedding..

OMG, why everyone is so depressed and negative on this forum?

Re: You’re invited to a gay wedding..
