You're invited to a gay wedding..

Do you go?

Re: You’re invited to a gay wedding..

A man (and woman too) is known by the company he keeps

:chai:

PS: NO.

Re: You're invited to a gay wedding..

^This is hypothetical (and seeing as we're being judgemental I wonder what we can make of a person who jumps to conclusions so quickly)..

Re: You're invited to a gay wedding..

**i'll go, eat to my heart's content but will NOT say hello or goodbye or shake hands...kiuN k:

*aamdan, nashistan, Khurdan, barKhowaastan* [aaye, baiThe, khaaye, piye khiske]! :D**

Re: You're invited to a gay wedding..

You can assume that person who (seem to) jump to the conclusions so quickly has actually already have clear views about the topic and have made his mind on some fundamentals. :)

Re: You're invited to a gay wedding..

I wouldn't. Regardless if its a childhood friend who at some point of time decided to go "Gay"

Call it the decision/judgement based on whatever keeps your boat afloat'ism.

Re: You're invited to a gay wedding..

If you are close enough to be invited then I don't understand what your reasons would be for not going
It's like saying its okay to be friends with a Gay person but its not okay to go to his/her wedding.....which makes no sense

Re: You're invited to a gay wedding..

It doesnt have to be a close friend per se. It can also be a colleague, neighbour

Re: You're invited to a gay wedding..

Yes. As a friend I'll be happy he has found someone he loves.

Re: You’re invited to a gay wedding..

And why wouldn’t you go? Please expand on your reasons.

Yes but then people would have to examine their belief system, which is painful. It’s much easier to be hypocritical.

Re: You're invited to a gay wedding..

I would be confused if I am Dulha's guest or Dulhan's guest

Re: You're invited to a gay wedding..

^ Neither. Just tell people you're with the catering company, so as to protect your izzat.

Re: You're invited to a gay wedding..

Well where there's free cake.....

Re: You're invited to a gay wedding..

i would. if it was a friend, i wouldn't have issues if he/she was gay, muslim, or any of other current pariahs.

Re: You're invited to a gay wedding..

I'd put on my best YSL suit and go. :)

Re: You're invited to a gay wedding..

Yes. I attend weddings of people I care about. Whether or not I agree with their selection of life partner doesn't effect my decision to support them.

Re: You're invited to a gay wedding..

Lesbian shadi would be okay. Imagine both girls in ghoonghat chehra chupaa ke.

Re: You’re invited to a gay wedding..

my religion is far more important than any one i would care about - e.g. even parents

Re: You're invited to a gay wedding..

Alhamdolillah I am not living in a society where I should. For those who have been into such choices to make, it must be difficult because it does collide with our belief system.

Re: You're invited to a gay wedding..

I don't know.
