I am also in IT. Application development/maintenance - mostly in the mainframe environment.

I recently finished school and I am now a computer Engineer.

I start work next week as a Consultant. Am I going to like it? Large Company, corporate environment, right in the centre of the city; I think it will definitley meet expectations. Will find out soon though! =D

There is a lot of hardware programming involved in CE, but as much as I love Engineering, I just dont like the programming aspect. In the past, I have worked on software projects through coop and arghhhh blahhhh. What I did like was project management aspect of it.. ahhhh so lets see

Ill be a biochemist in like what 3 monthss.. oh time fliesss :(. hate every bit of it. Will be doing masters in Accounting though ( uff if they dont create a big fuss over it)

man/woman thats a lot of Questions in one go.

  1. I am the minority in Eng.
  2. I wish it was Hogwarts. :frowning:
  3. Depends on region/company; but generally $50K-65K.
  4. Its alright; but seriously who cares about GPA other than grad schools ofcourse.
  5. I got the job offer while I was still in school.

Now, its only fair if you answer those questions yourself as well! =p
