So what profession/work are you a part of ? If you aren’t currently working, what are you currently studying and how much do you like it?

i landed here by default. i work as a Post Doc in Horticulture and the part of my job i hate the most is working on the farm for 4 months during hot/humid/sticky summer.

i wish i move on to something else which might come in the New Year iA :)

i'm doing what i'm doing by default. i was in Med School and due to my non-serious attitude towards studies, i was kicked out of the program due to falling wellllllllllllll below the minimum class attendance required in almost all the classes i was taking in that entire academic year.

i always loathed botany

there are days when i HATE being a doctor but that hardly lasts a few seconds. Never regretted it Alhamdullilah :D

maashaa Allah...Botany is the least desired discipline of the all the biological sciences at Aligarh Muslim University when i was a student there...no wonder why i was accepted in that program after my huge debacle lol...

...btw, what do you specialize in?

I am upgrading my field to more advance level. I hope, at end of this year or beginning of next year. :)

I graduated last year. Still havent started practising in the UK yet. But I am currently doing Masters in Diabetes Management. So yes IA Endocrinology would be my field !

oh i see...you guys don't do 4-5 years of residency to get your license to practice medicine in the UK?

you got a patient in me as i am a diabetic person who eats a lot of sweets! :)

basically everyone who is an international medical graduate has to pass the PLAB exam whether in Asia or Europe before getting a full license here.

yeah…same here…my neice just finished her 5 years in Psychiatry. i still wish i be a doctor treating humans than plants lol :slight_smile: agar mujhe Ghussa aayaa kisii din [jo kabhii aataa nahiiN!] to sab chhoR chhaaR ke maiN to med school meN admission le luuNgaa :cb:
