I just landed a job as a software engineer, my first job. I studied to be an Electrical Engineer, but then this came along. Haven’t started work yet, so don’t know if I’ll like it.

I might get a Masters in something Software or I.T depending on how I like my job.
Or
Get a Masters in something else.

I wanted to something related to automobiles, but dad advised me otherwise, because Electrical Engineers have a lot more options when they graduate. That kinda makes sense now, because I know I like cars but more as a possession than a profession.

Still thinking about joining the army, because I wanted to do that too, but didn’t happen. Never applied. But enlisting now with Bachelors degree, I have the chance of getting in as an officer. So add a job to your resume Saeed and stay fit. The Army boat hasn’t sailed yet.

Saeed , army is a good option if you have the passion.

There were recently some openings in air force (short service commission )as well, have a look at them as well.

About me, I am studying in IT, I loved computers from the beginning.Medicine was not my field because my sister was already studying it. So,I decided to go for some thing different. When I was a kid, I used to think how people do online shopping? Do they have some baskets,pipes to get the things direct at home. You see, how kid thinks,this was old time story. Since then, I thought to join IT field and learn more about computers. Now I am studying in this field, found programming a bit challenging in the beginning but I enjoy it now.

I know …IELTS is another story too Thank God I did that already in Pak before coming here!

All TV morning shows were talking with Armed Forces officers and cadets for Defense Day today.

Anyway, did your new employer tell you what you will be working on/with ?
Will they train you on the job ?
And what is the salary range for entry level SE jobs in Kara-Land these days ?

SIP, you said somewhere earlier that you were stingy.

Just remember, recruit, that to receive, you have to open your hand and give some too.

If you hold on tight to your money and never open your fist to give out some you are also foregoing opportunity to receive some (money/blessing).

I don’t know if that made any sense, but I heard that somewhere and thought I would pass it along.

Moral of the story - now that you will be earning, don’t forget to give some charity too.
