Re: Your religion might be a man-made, mine is not!
you keep throwing me back and forth.
Didn’t you just say that your god was the same as my God? Then who’s word do you take for the definition of your god ??? That’s all I want to know ![]()
Re: Your religion might be a man-made, mine is not!
I thought there was just one GOd.....and we all agree that god exists.....and i've explained the rest so many times......
if u r looking for something like if i use a guidebook such as the HUMAN COMPILED books...then no i dont and i believe we were sent to the world for worshipping god in our OWN WAY and to understand GOD in our OWN WAY and for humanitarian reasons....
Re: Your religion might be a man-made, mine is not!
… forget about it ![]()
Re: Your religion might be a man-made, mine is not!
aight.....
Re: Your religion might be a man-made, mine is not!
Contrary to popular (self righteous) belief, many feel it is not necessary to belong to a group of billions to know God and to develop spiritually in a way He desires. Many believe people, messages and scripture were sent over time to show man the way, but not necessarily for them to follow an organized, myopic version of a religion where scripture meant for a particular time and place has to be followed literally for every man that follows.

I am enlightened.
Re: Your religion might be a man-made, mine is not!
Seminole, doesn't your "group" have a name also? i think they call it the 'make-it-up-as-you-go-along' brigade :-)
Re: Your religion might be a man-made, mine is not!
As silly as that may seem to you, others find the follow-the-literal-translation-of-ancient-scripture-revealed-to-7th-century-Arabia equally ridiculous and the anithesis of enlightenment.
Re: Your religion might be a man-made, mine is not!
ding! That's a correct answer Mr. Seminole
Re: Your religion might be a man-made, mine is not!
there really is no choice… i’d rather follow God’s scripture (as “ancient” as it might be) than the stick-two-fingers-up-at-God-and-make-it-up-for-myself approach espoused by people who can’t even spell ‘antithesis’… ![]()
Re: Your religion might be a man-made, mine is not!
Ah, so my typo belies my inability to grasp spiritual matters…
You are free to ‘have no choice’ and follow ancient scripture as a blue print for life, no one is trying to convert you. And I’m not so arrogrant to say that it isn’t the correct path for you to salvation.
God gave us choice, a brain, and the ability to connect to him. Some just don’t feel like it can possibly all be put into one little book, especially when that book relates to warring tribes of ancient cultures. There are many religions out there that use Christianity or other religions as a framework but do not require you to mimic life of ancient times or to believe the literal translations of books that were delivered to people that we couldn’t have less in common with if we tried.
Re: Your religion might be a man-made, mine is not!
^ if your god is incapable of putting it all into a book and making that book applicable for all times then that's your problem... good luck
Re: Your religion might be a man-made, mine is not!
I have studied your book and it appears as if it is not possible.
Re: Your religion might be a man-made, mine is not!
^ in your view Einstein... but then you seem to be worshipping a god incapable of such things... that remains your problem...
Re: Your religion might be a man-made, mine is not!
and mine!
Re: Your religion might be a man-made, mine is not!
And in the view of Einstein and 80% of everyone else too. I’m not saying the answers aren’t in there, it’s just not applicable to everyone for all times. Why you accuse me of worshipping a God that is incapable of such things (as if worshipping is the end-all of spirituality
), I think I give God a lot more credit than you since I am not limiting his divine message to warring tribes of the 7th century.
Re: Your religion might be a man-made, mine is not!
^ the fact that you have this bizarre concept of Muslims believing the Qur'an's message is limited solely to "warring tribes of the 7th century" shows just how retarded and unenlightened your thinking is...
the concept of worship in Islam is a great deal more holistic and all-encompassing than you obviously realise... keep trying though, you'll start making some sense if you keep writing often enough
Re: Your religion might be a man-made, mine is not!
I know Muslims do not believe that, that's what makes them Muslim. I'm saying Einstein, myself and billions of others don't share the same view. Listen, it would be very easy to call your views retarded and unenlightened but in an open-minded and civilized discussion that doesn't occur. Try not to be so self righteous and cocky, just because you think your way is the only way doesn't give you the right or authority to be so impudent.
