I am disclosing it anonymously and then there is a request at the end to the members here:
religen is man made. if there is no human there is no religen. humans appeared to earth recently. ofcourse there is some higher power created all of the things that we see and dont see. if there is muslims or hindus there is no islam and hinduism but higher power is still there even if all humans dispear like dinosaur due to some calamity.
Here is my request to all the fellow non-muslims on the board:
Please, do not tell me that Islam is man-made because I am not going to believe you. Yes, that is right. I won’t. And, the reason is obvious.. The only reason I believe in Islam is because I believe it to be divine.

Actually a sensible message and does put religion in perspective. Pls realise that the point being made is about religion and not God - that mesg actually says that God exists above all religions.
But sadly, its very difficult to be objective about religion and hence these kind of blanket statements like "Islam is divine". I am sure it is. But go beyond your emotions and get the bigger truth in that message - I guess the person was trying to tell that we need to be above religious differences

I find a much bigger truth in the following statement:
**45:18 **Then We put thee on the (right) Way of Religion: so follow thou that (Way), and follow not the desires of those who know not.
45:19 They will be of no use to thee in the sight of Allah: it is only Wrong-doers (that stand as) protectors, one to another: but Allah is the Protector of the Righteous.

yeah it is man-made …the present state of muslims exists because we cant decide which man-made rules to keep or ignore from hundreds of yrs ago. so u add stuff and delete stuff as u like it…
muhammad started with preaching that we should worship one God and be good to other human beings…thats about all i see as being the best part of religions…whether he really was approached by angels and whether miracles did happen…i dunno…but i do know that humans in that era were just as human as i am.
and when i say its man-made i am not going to point out one man for it…its usually a whole lot of things that go into history that make up the present.
u can say that islam is Divine…i didnt question that…
u yourself said that anyone else is invited to say that their religion is man-made…and thats what i did.

so u got a message saying that all religion is man-made and u put up this post so other religions could come up and say their religions are man-made???....im sorry i dont really buy that....u were really hoping somebody would say what i just did.....how many non-muslims on this site anyway? and outta those how many willing to say theirs is man-made?
