Your DREAM Wedding

No budgets, no boundaries, no restrictions- If you could have it all.. what would it be like?

Re: Your DREAM Wedding

omg I think my dream wedding would be soo much cheaper then the real one:omg:

I would love if the guest list was 30 people, of whom both him and I were the closest too. And my dream wedding would take place in la serena, chile.

As far as the dress, I would love to have something very very simple(maybe even an american wedding dress) which flows, and no dupetta. Hair without any hair spray or for that matter anything else, and just a small pin pulling my bangs back.

And I would love if the wedding started at midnight and it was on the beach itself, and we dance, hang out all night long :@:

Ofcourse none of this will ever happen because i had to become a freakin hijabi 3 years ago:cb:

4 brides

Re: Your DREAM Wedding

awww gaia!

Re: Your DREAM Wedding

I have an endless list.....aaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! :)

awww that is sooo sweet and you are not freaked out im sure you are a beautiful hijabi:)

Re: Your DREAM Wedding

umm ok my dream wedding contains nothing but me and him kissing softly when molvi sahb says 'you may now kiss the bride' but i know that cant be because im a muslim alhumdolilah:P

Re: Your DREAM Wedding

i would want a small intimate wedding with just friends and family....unlike in reality where more than half of the guests i never met and most likely will never meet again...lol....

i would love to have everything taken care of..i wouldnt have to worry about a single thing...just show up and everything is beautiful........ maybe a desination wedding in Fiji....

technically, that CAN be, because he would be your husband.
culturally, i can see people hawing it because its not** pakistani.**
it doesn't really have anything to do with being muslim.

par, i'd probably move into bunto kazmi's house while she made my dress for a dream wedding, but the rest of it was pretty damn perfect as it was, i gotta say! mA! :)

Re: Your DREAM Wedding

endless amounts of money to go on a mega shopping spree!!! Id love an amazing venue with FEW people! which wud include UK family and paki family together.. but thts highly unlikely as i have to ditch one side of the family to get married to him in pak =(

Re: Your DREAM Wedding

I want a fairytale wedding. Not many people, exotic location. Nice slow music. Him n Me. Nice locale, nice weather. Not a care in the world. The money can go in to a bank account so we can live comfortably for the rest of our lives.

Same as I had it with wayyyyyyyyy fewer people. Also change the venues to Adler Planetarium & Shedd Aquarium in Chicago.

Doing the Nikkah at Masjid rather than home.

Oh & would love to include live Kabab Parathas stations, Lassis, Saag & Makai ki Roti for the food on Mehndi day.

& most of all having my sister in laws & their families present on the big day.

I would have it in Pakistan, at either my Uncle’s club or our family park. 90% of my family have had their functions here as well as having other events/parties here. I love the idea of the family park. I have such fond memories of that place, including dancing at my mamoo’s wedding when I was 4 to ‘meri haathon mein’.

I would have a marquee, candles and fairy lights. Sofas for everyone to relax on. A buffet and tables for everone to sit down and enjoy the food.

I would only have mine and his immediate families, some extended family and I would love to be able to pay for my closest friends to fly over and have them stay with us leading upto the festivities.

For the mendhi I would have lots of traditional food/snacks- karhi, samosa chat, gol gappay, dahi barey, different types of halwa. kulfi wala etc.

Wedding day- biryani and the traditional fare.

Oh and I already know what I would like to wear:blush:

Re: Your DREAM Wedding

ooooo, Even jus thinkin abt it, i’ve gone blank.. hehe
I mean no budget never thot abt that so not even sure what i would like.

I guess i would love to have a lovely venue, a very very grand entrance…
Still ALLAH ka shukar hai for everything.
Rest i guess i would like to have a wonderful Honeymoon

  1. not exceeding 50 or 60 people
  2. lots **and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots **of flowers
  3. lots of colors
  4. must be by some water (pool, beach, lake, stream, waterfall, any decent sized water feature … whatever)
  5. casual lounge kinda seating … no uncomfortable chairs … something that makes everyone interact with each other .. instead of people forming groups of 5! some kind of low seating would be nice …
6.it’s difficult for me to decide between a day or night wedding … day gives nice pictures, night gives a wonderful ambiance …

AND … if i could … i would have a wedding day for each culture-style that exists :meeno:

Re: Your DREAM Wedding

since it's a dream, i'd ask for a hot body to go along with a gorgeous dress. :D

Re: Your DREAM Wedding

would love to have had it in Pakistan more than anything else. I missed so many family members on my wedding day..........size or lavishness doesnt matter as long as all of my loved ones are near.

Ideal BK dress (I would choose deep pink) and uncut diamond jewelery lol

4 honeymoons--one for every season hehe Europe Tour, Malaysia/Indonesia/Thailand, N. Africa and Polynesian Islands

Re: Your DREAM Wedding

lol, love the honeymoon part.... one for every occasion! hehe...
Should be cool tho..

Re: Your DREAM Wedding

I would kick a few people off my guest list :@: or even invite them ad make them sit right at the back. Certain people deserve the VIP treatment :@:

I would change my outfit 3 times for each day and have a 10 day long wedding lol
