Shareen..have you used an epilator before??What did you think of the results? Where did you get it?
I did use one many moons ago, got it from Boots I think.
I used it twice before giving up, I found it too painful but I do know many people who swear by theirs. So guess it depends on your pain threshold.
Just to disgust you, my friend bought an epilator and it had hairs in. And it gets worse than that but i'll leave it there.
It actually depends on the region you want to remove the hair from...
for a quickie shaving is reccomended as it is a fast and painless method but NEVER shave any part of your face (i mean females!!) as this will result in a thick regroth of dark hair. For the face waxing or threading is the best, hair removing lotions/ creams are not reccomended as these contain chemicals which may result in a rash or burning of the skinn.
For the legs, waxing is good but painfull.
Electrolisis is good and removes hair from the root, permantly but is a rather expensive method....
As you can see.... there are many methods but they all have their advantages as well as disadvantage.... it is you who is to decide it.

My friend had this laser done . She had 3 visits till now. Result from first was awesome then regrowth took place but they are much thin now. I hope they will get more thinner now. But I think they r not gonna go permenantly.
Once there was some burning left for a few days. then it disappears
Well she is not fully satisfied.

i was so concious al the time coz ov facial hair but aftr 6 -7 sittings of laser my hair bcame thin remarkably n i have gaind confidence
i wod recomend it 2 ny girl who has this problem
jus get rid of it as soon as possible

firstly thru my sincere experience il give u sum tipos
1 dont tuch ur hair until or unless its too much nd causing u n othrs discomfort
2 if u want to then just trim it wid siccors not the nornal ones but the cosmetic siccors n dont use ny thing else do this as long as this tip works but if it doesnt
3 then bleach ur hair this is a less better option use body gift bleach
or herbal ones bcoz othrs can make ur hair grow longer
4 ok nw the last resort shud b threading of facial hair coz it keeps ur skin clear frm hair for a few dayz but it comes back sumtimz thicker
the best option is laser jus get ur hormonal balance check then use laser

trimming facial hair wid siccor doesnt cause thick or long growth of hair thatz wat i have experienced but threading does that

I use epilator and have gotten used to the pain. Hair growth is definately reduced. Its always easy for me to use it whenever i need to use it on a certain part of leg. I also use it under my arms and on my arms as well.
4 months ago i also started have laser treatment on my upper lip and i must tell you that so far the results have been great Alhumdullilah! I used to do threading and could feel the hair on my upperlip BUT now it feels hair free. Even my husband says he cant see anything and i have only had 3 sessions! Laser is the best but do your research first!

Not really hinna...but i sometimes prefer to epilate after a shower. Its also better to rub ur legs and arms with a hard exfoliation glove or brush leken jst lightly! Moisturise after u have epilated though...skins so smooth...
And obviously you can use the machine whenever you see a lil hair growth rather than waiting for all your hair to come back ready for waxing...

i just bought myself a personal torture device too...the braun epilator yayy i cant wait to scream my brains out with it. i heard the pain threshold improves over time though but i wanna know if i need to be worried about ingrown hairs with this too?
electrolysis, laser, waxing bah!....they all have some side effect no matter what..and u end up spending so much money. i say this is all a damn conspiracy to make women spend their money. we are only offered procedures that are not perfect. i mean look at mens products they are designed to work SO well....(e.g. viagara for instance....the ad says "in the event that u experience an erection lasting 6 or more hours, seek medical attention..." ! wth?!)... and womens products "it MAY help decrease the "appearance" if used for a zillion days and till then u better not go out in the sun and if u do and the wrinkles reappear then its YOUR FAULT..oh by the way it comes with a 30 day guarantee" or what the electrologist tells u after you ask her if there is a guarantee that the hair wont come back after the treatment?... "uh no" ..
ummm k thnx u can now take my hundred dollars and prick me with your electric needle.
why cant they just design one perfect hair removal device...and one perfect man while they are at it too. k this rant is over.

I heard that Sharper Image has an electrolysis machine that works really well and isn't too expensive. Anyone tried it?
