Why on earth did he give Gul’s over to Fawad Alam???
I was shocked and stunned before even Alam conceded any runs.
Why on earth did he bowl Alam when he hasn’t bowled all tournament???

Fawad Aalam saved 20 ods runs in the feield with his brilliant efforets and did a direct run out at a crucial stage, however he gave run but this is all about cricket.
In the last game Maik has given the same runs, but it does not mean anything. Just play!

but GUL shud’ve bowled all his overs
he’s the IN-FORM bowler
and a bowler that can consistently bowl 5-6 inswinging yorkers in an over 
Not giving Gul his full quota of 4 overs did not make much sense to me
Was it a miscalculation on Younis's part?
And Gul not Aamer should have bowed the last over. Why put so much pressure on young Aamer
Am I missing something here?
But atleast Younis realises now that Fawad should not bowl even one over in the final. He maybe talented but he has not bowled much lately and looks rusty.
When you have 6 other bowlers at your disposal (Gul, Aamer, Ajmel, Afridi, Razzaq and Malik) why risk even one over from Fawad?

shoaib malik was a much better choice since he bowled a nice over b4 aswell

To me bwoling second last over by GUL when you have 29 runs to save Was the best option. SA needed 29 in 12 and even f GUL has given 9 runs, SA still may need 20 runs in 6 balls which is very difficult and hence put less presure on the bowler. But if Aamir or any other had bowled second last over and had given 15 plus runs then its very difficult for the last bowler to save 12-15 runs in final over. So I guess the plan was intelligent and it did work!

Yeah, I guess that's the reason to introduce Fawad Alam, but I guess for that single over Shoaib Malik was much decent choice, In my opinion Fawad should not even be in the team, because he neither bats nor bowls, there should be another batsman to give more strength to the batting, 6 bowlers are O.K.

Yeah right Fawad never bat without facing a delivery and he bowled first time and should be out of the team

I guess Younis just succumbed to pressure from public asking about Fawad's role in the team. I hope he realizes though that there's no need to give him a bowl at this point in time.
Keep him in the team... let him bat if we need him to... he's a great fielder regardless - but to ask him to bowl in such a crucial match without any prior run in the tournament was a bad bad decision.
