She could just as easily have taken another stance. She could have tried the request approach … The intellectual approach by appealing to their reason and demonstrating to them without making any negative publicity about the TTP … She went on a PR mission against them and they saw that as a threat … She is a cog in the machine against their political existence and validity and she knew it.
Her purpose is to show them up, not to engage in debate with them or show them how they are wrong nor appeal to them, because that would give them legitimacy … She wants them out as does her father and she is taking the education angle on it.
Now I’m not saying she is wrong to want education … But there are ways to get this without being antagonistic and in the name of “peace” she is actually not a peaceful person. She is representing forceful, violent means to remove them from power … Her education has not given her the ability to recognise the reasonings of the other side nor has it given her cause to even try to look at matters from their angle. She is not interested in reconciliation or understanding.
so I find all the support she is getting is because of that rather than edumacashun … Rather she is fighting for a strain of education that will not avail the girls in any way, apart from making them polarised and opinionated. Under the guise of education you get their women to undermine the TTP on a dogmatic level and you have half the victory … And what is the worst case scenario? That they don’t get a formal education … So what? It is not worth spilling blood over … Nor having your own blood spilt over it … People are obsessed about their “rights” from both sides of the fence … So she is not alone here … But if they are sincere, what they fail to realise is “timing”, but that is giving them too much credit … They have no desire to speak nicely or come to agreements.
I would ask her a few questions that no reporter would ask her …
Fitnah is the worst thing … It creates unrest … And ongoing killing … She is not hero for saying what everybody else in the West is saying … And she is on a kamikaze mission … I fundamentally disagree with the TTP on a dogmatic level, a political level, but I recognise the need for discussion and pact forming … Not “you are gonna listen to us or else approach” the sort of people they are … That type of talk is gonna get their back up. And to my dismay her father and the think tank … They know that all too well.
