Lol im not gonna mention anyone by name cos it ended up in an argument last time…

Firstly this is not aimed at those who practice Islam properly…and use Allah as their criteria…

But to those who insult and disrespect me…firstly bring it…and secondly let me tell you all a few home truths…

Issues raised with me are that i dont practice…In all honesty its just our limits are different…a lot of you practice healf heartedly and pick what you want to do…pick the red and yellow skittle and leave that nasty green one…

How many of you moan about free mixing and how it should be ok…FACT Allah said it isnt so get over it…if you want to do it then do it and sin…dont try and attack ideas that your creator stated…i have never disagreed with a word my creator has said i just know i cant follow it…you lot amend the religion so it suits you…

So its ok to have a gf as long as its just talking…who the **** came up with this bull****…not my creator i know that…but hey its easier for you that way…im islamic cos i dont f%%%…theres no lesser of two evils…

And to those that call people that dont free mix, dont listen to music, watch movies etc fundamentalist and extremist…they are what you should be…they follow what they believe…idiots like myself struggle…idiots like you choose to attack them so you feel better…if enough people say its ok to listen to music then it must be ok…so nice you feel better…

And as for my pick n choose thing…how mnay of you pray fajr?..when i prayed i did not miss a prayer…not a boast…i just did things properly…when i comitted to practice i do it properly…none of this ill do maghrib and isha and Allah will be happy…but hey waking up at 5 in the morning isnt good for all of you is it…

How you people can meet girls and boys and free mix and think youv maintained your fast is beyond me…lol you probably dont segregate when you have your iftari do you…all those non mehrams but hey not inviting them would ruin the social occasion that ramadan and eid is to you people…

Lol i could go on forever about how you people pick and choose what you do…lol the head of my ISOC has so many ‘Sisters’ as friends its ridiculous…

Your criticism of the West and their values is that they act on impulse and dont have rules which rule them…you have no values either…you are slaves to yourselves aswell…its just some of us do different things…

Practicing Muslims think you lot are pathetic for doing the things you do and you think im pathetic cos of the things i do…all ill say is if you practice then look down at me but to most of you idiots that attack me just realise that you are no different than me its just you dont like to admit it…

We’re all gonna meet Allah on the day of judgement so lie to yourselves if you want and convince yourself that what you do is ok…he wont…so during ramadan this month…when you start chatting to that non mahram realise that you have broken that fast…when you meet that ‘fiance’, turn on that radio or watch that movie you have broken your fast…its not just eating and drinking but hey i can understand how doing things correctly wont suit you…

And to finish i quote scarface…cos im sure all you wonderful muslims have seen this haram movie…you need a bad guy like me so you can feel better about your Islam…its the fornicators, drinkers, clubbers that make you feel better about what you do…just realise we all used the same criteria to decide on things…What suits me hain na…

PS To reiterate this is aimed at those stupid Jummah Muslims not those who actively practice…

phew...

it was a good read. I so agree with you brother.. i see people like that all around me- people who are constantly judging you if not judging then lecturing you, if not lecturing,then talking to you about what they heard about flan flan person (backbitting). They think they are the perfect ones, because they do everything according to the cultural book, (nevermind mind reading and understanding islamic book... it requires alot of work which obviously they dont wanna do) they just wanna look/'appear' good muslims.

Following islam takes guts and people who do follow it properly do not need to tell others, it shows from their actions/thinking.

I remember, when i was growing up (still am..alot to learn still 20's) i used to look up to older muslim brothers/sisters, they were suppose to be younger lot's role model but the more i got to know about them the more i felt disgusted. I was shocked to see, the people who are in charge.. are abusing their power. I guess, i was naive, but i know better now..i wont make the same mistakes i made.

I dont practice but i judge right and wrong from Islam if that makes sense...i fornicate i know its haram...i free mix i know its haram...i listen to music i know its haram...my criteria is Islam...i just struggle to follow it...I do what i feel to do but i dont feel that what i do is correct if that makes sense...

These people do what they feel to do and feel its islamic cos its the islam that they like...if they dont like it its unuslamic...thats their criteria...eg the amount of girls who whine about the hijab...for god sake if you dont wear it it doesnt make you a good muslim pure and simple...stop checking for loopholes and that person that will give you the answer you want to hear...

I have issues with people in their bubble who look down at bad guys like me when they do what they feel to do like me...and i have issues with people who misquote my prophet...some idiot tried to justify in one thread that the prophet free mixed with khadijah...what that fool didnt know is that they got married before he recieved revelation...how dare you say the prophet did haram to make you feel better...that idiot didnt reply niether...so i get annoyed at idiots who come to the answer then seek evidence...

Who are we to judge one another? You will always be right in your head and I will always be right in mine. Our egos will clash and never compromise cuz our standard is set by our religion that most of us dont even understand. So why bother wasting our time in something that will never be productive. You have a brain, use it ... and if someone says otherwise .... Its none of their business!

Who are you to say what you have translated from Quran is correct? You may have misunderstood what it may have meant and its easy to do that and thats why I say the religion is complicated.
Leme make it simple to you ..I dont pray ..I dont fast ..most people would say I am Kafir already...Well Screw them its none of their busniess. I belive in as long as you do what you think is right you will be OK. I dont care what style do you pray in (either with ur hands down or up) ...or even if you dont pray at all. It dcoesnt matter to me as lonf as its not effecting me in anyway. If you cross the line and make it to where I start having problems because thats when I jump in and tell you to stop....
As far as saying Gods words Vs Mine... I always have and always will go by what makes sense to me. Its not about who is saying it its about what it means! Peace!

kinda confused really. Normally I stay away from this “religious” threads. But from what I am getting, NBN, you feel that people shouldn’t pick and choose their own version of islam and look for the convenient answer that fits their lifestyle. But you yourself don’t follow proper islamic ways. I understand that you know this but your problem is with people mucking up islam for their own benefit. But seeing that you don’t follow islamic ways yourself, why concern yourself with what other’s are doing. Why concern yourself with other people mucking up islam when you don’t follow islamic ways either. :konfused:

Its not my translation...thats the scholars job...and most things are clear cut...its consensus for instance that you dont free mix before marriage...but you'll continuously see these idiots try to find loopholes...maybe that one ayat that can make me free mix...and then dismiss any opinion that agrees with theirs as extreme...funnily enough...they attack the evidence they recieve yet they have nothing to justify their own actions with...

There was some idiot a while back saying its ok to have a fiance in Islam...Islam doesnt recognise the concept of fiances and doesnt allow you to mix...if someone slanders my faith surely i have a right to defend it...

If you say i have a fiance then thats cool i wont say anything...ill just lay into you when you say Allahs cool with it...it becomes my business when you bad mouth my faith...

When someone does that...that person only bad mouths his own faith not urs... If ur faith is effected by other peoples act than ur faith isnt strong enough...Let them do what they do... and defend ur self in an offensive manner when they attack u!

btw I am not the most religiously informed person..but if i am not wrong.. prophet muhammed and his first wife knew each other before they got married.. So i guess keeping that in mind there is nothing wrong in getting to know the person you plan on marrying.
If gambling is haram then marrying someone without knowing that person is probably the biggest gamble of ones life.

Just seems weird, that's all. I don't follow what it says, but I have strong convictions about the subject matter and I will not let other misinterpret what it states.

I guess I just don't see how a person who is a non-practicing muslim can get so up in arms about someone else mucking up islam.

One of many reason why I stay away from religious threads and turning more and more away from religion and becoming a non-believer.

Quickly to inform you...the Prophet did know his wife before they were married...he married her in 595 and recieved revelation...they were married 15 years before he even became Muslim...he wasnt Muslim when he free mixed so thats not proof...theres textual evidence...Quran and hadeeth are our sources for rules and regulations...

Also there are Islamic ways of knwoing someone before marriage...clear cut ways which people try and toy with to make it more inclined to their own needs...but thats another thread...Fact is even if it doesnt fit with what im feeling that doesnt make it wrong...Allahs right...im not right

And i can understand how me not practicing but having strong convictions is strange...im just a weak guy to be honest...i have strong beleif in what Allah says but i love haram so much...Its not an excuse cos Islam itself is a test and the reward is higher the harder it is for you...its just im not strong enough an individual to practice what i believe...but i will defend mny belief and those that slander it like idiots on this board...

And as for the rational thing...im not sure what your referring to...i became Muslim at 15 and the whole reverting thing was rational...it was proved to me that this book is the word of God...so when i became Muslim i did that with the understanding that everything that Allah says is correct...so it doesnt matter why its haram ito fornicate...he says dont do it so thats right and wrong...i dont need reasons for everything cos i believe it to be the word of God...why pray 3 rakat maghrib not 4...Who cares Allah said so...thats not blind or irrational thats just belief...belief which has a rational basis...
