Re: Xavier Marshall test positive for drugs

Do other countries know abt drugs too :konfused:

Re: Xavier Marshall test positive for drugs

I am of the opinion that as long as you know what is harming your system when you take it or if you have made a decision to get involved in drugs, it is entirely up to you as a person.

What ICC should do is make drugs legal for all batsman ("batsman-friendly"). And every bowler who tests positive should be banned for an indefinite period of time. Very soon, we will have machine guns for bowling with small advertisement boards (ghee, aata, doodh) sitting inside the ground as fielders.

kewn, doosray mulkon mai “saieen baba”, “sannayasi baba” nahi hotay? :aq:

what will happen if Xavier will say … mujhey yeh dawa hakeem sahib ney dee thee…

Re: Xavier Marshall test positive for drugs

Don’t abandon Marshall (CricInfo)

hmmmm... no disciplinary committee action... apparently ICC/WADA have no problem with Marshall playing for Windies.

Re: Xavier Marshall test positive for drugs

but he was not from Pakistan so ICC dont care too much haan liken ager court of law acquitted Salim Malik of all charges and lifted the ban and he was offered the job at NCA (not member of any international team), ICC has problem with that big time ..... its this way, ker loo jo kerna hai :)

He did play didn’t he. No action from ICC/WADA yet on this issue. It is still a drugs issue after all.

The last word was nothing official had taken place (CricInfo).

yup he played, thrashed masoom fawad alam for 3 consecutive boundaries.

Must be the performance enhancing drugs which enabled him to hit the extra fast bowling of fawad alam.

why is he still in the team???:mad:ab icc key pait main marorey nahi uth rahey :mad2:

ICC partners with WADA to include a new out-of-competition testing:

Under the new rules, players identified by the ICC as part of its “international registered testing pool” will be expected to inform the ICC of their whereabouts every three months. Players are also expected to turn up for tests on request, and their failure to inform the ICC of their whereabouts or to turn up for tests could lead to an anti-doping violation. Three missed tests or filing failures (not reporting to the ICC about their whereabouts) in an 18-month period will constitute an offence. (CricInfo)

What happened of Xavier Marshal? No word since he tested positive?

Not only that but he did play the ODI series against Pakistan. Baychara Asif abhi tuk dar badar phir rha hay :)

Xavier Marshall is listed by BBC sports as one of the 6 players who should be watched to make an impact in 2009.

read an article today by tony cozier on cricinfo, Time for Marshall to be a ‘big man’

Here is a portion from the article

Well, the news about Marshall testing positive was conducted by RADO agency (CricInfo), which apparently has no attachment or links to WICB or ICC/WADA (or do they?)

So even though the matter fell outside the jurisdiction of WICB (as Tony Cozier’s article stated), this was the stance by WICB after the independent tests came positive:
“WICB has a zero-tolerance policy on drugs and the matter could come up to the disciplinary committee. We are looking at a time frame of two weeks.”
I guess nothing is done as far as disciplinary action or a ban of any sort…

agar Mohammad Asif ko maloom ho gya tu bara naraz ho ga
