DL aren't people slaves in Pakistan.... of the jageer dars, the corrupt politicians and Generals. Aren't they also rounded up and taken to unknown places without a trial ? DO we in Pakistan have a judicial system , some form of justice? NO... If not than what is so bad about living outside Pakistan? Even though countries in West do not have a predominantly Muslim populations but they do have some working systems and some justice. Much better than hypocrite Pakistan (Islamic republic).

last but not least... you can show some courtesy by not using the word "OK" in every sentence. it sounds rude.

After this extremist tamasha growing? NO. I was seriously thinking of it - seriously planning my life out to move back and do some serious social work, but I don't think so. Not with that culture. They bloody do not have any respect for women and female leadership, and their extremist problem is just growing. I don't fancy getting suicide bombed, because Pakistanis as a nation haven't been demanding enough about ridding their country of extremism. They like anything that walks and talks with an ill-maintained beard and a militant look, and that's going to bite them in their butt. And I aint getting in the middle of that.

I've cancelled any vacation plans for the near future as well. I am so ashamed to be Pakistani in this day and age.

I want to go back after making some money. want my investment for masters back. I lived there for 25 years and never had any trouble so will not be having any problem to go back. Hopefully i don't get struck in infinite loop of desire of making money.

Look who is crying here. This is what a little bit of bias can do to you, women demand respect for themselves but when others get manhandled in a situation against their thoughts/belief they would be okay as “they’re manhandling everyone - not just women”.

People need to rise above their bias to look at issues rightly.

In Pakistani work places, are you ever made to feel uncomfortable due to ignorant coworkers making snide, left handed and indirectly aimed at you, comments about your religion or country? You know what I am talking about, when people at work start discussing politics, and it's like the most stupid conversation.

In Pakistan it could be sect (as majority are Muslims) and ethnicity, in my short career in Pakistan I didn't face such problem, everyone was very friendly with each other.
