umm thats what the topic required for ppl to comment on ‘women say some rape victims should take blame’…as usual ppl ranted on in different directions

also why would anyone lessen a rapist's crime by making the scantily clad lady look bad ..isnt he remotely responsible for treating her the same way he would if she were not drunk..? what does her being drunk or tipsy have to do with him crossing the line into haywaniat and raping the woman?? He is fully aware that she is helpless! its like the jagay badmash in a gaaon who take advantage of women workers..just because they are in a position where they cant do anything....doesnt mean the jagay badmash can rape village ki helpless aurtaein left and right.... who btw are not drunk..

Nobody is pushing the blame on the victim. Rapists are scum of the earth and should be tortured to death. The point is, do not put yourself in a risky situation. Unless someone is completely retarded, we all understand the likely consequences of our actions. Take responsibility for your own actions at least. If I was walking around the streets of Alabama wearing a Fcuk America shirt, and someone attacks me, yes that is sad and nobody has the right to beat me up for expressing my opinion - but I should understand what kind of trouble my actions can put me in.

aishaa - I will say this again, if you just want to be right just say so, and I will tell you that you are right. If you really are finding it that hard to understand the relationship between (stupid/reckless/irresponsible) action and its likely reaction - well I am afraid I can't give you any simpler examples.

There is a clear difference between actually getting raped and just crying rape after drunk consensual sex.

Such survey's are produced everyday, one survey even said eating brownies for breakfats, lunch and dinner makes you lose weight!

i know right! its like the caveman brains---tarred and cemented..
and NO!! most of the time men take advantage of the fact that females are physically weak and cannot fight them off...EVEN when sober. Drinking is part of the western culture..over 80% of the adult population drinks..and not all women end up getting raped... those who do, drinking just happens to be as normal as having dinner prior to the attack. The MAN who DECIDES to rape her is at fault for taking advantage of a further weakened/helpless woman, who EVEN during sobriety would have had a faint chance of surviving the assault.

hey Aisha, lemme clear myself, my comments and opinion was not based on the article mentioned above, what i am saying that not all victims are to be partially blamed, but there are a few (generally speaking) who walk themselves in to situations, thats all. As far as saying all victims are to be blamed is totally wrong and the RAPIST must have his ......... chopped.

her whole life but also she can get affected by depression
