Yup, that's precisely what happens in most situations.
I have read up on date rape drugs and their psychological effects as well as physical effects on the rape victims in Psychology so this is why I know precisely what happens.
P.S ppl no where has any of us supported the notion that the RAPE was justified or the rapists had any right to do it. All i am saying is that there are certain situations or places girls find themselves in which could have been avoided and thus the partial blame, as we are all aware clubs etc are the hunting grounds for such predators and we are all aware of that.

I am sorry Sara but I think you have deeply misunderstood my post. It's calling reading comprehension.....in Western culture, accepting drinks form random guys in bars is very normal!!! I am not offended by you bringing Islamic values! I am very much a Muslim myself so please spare me the lecture about how everyone is Muslim here....I think I figured that out when I signed onto a Pakistani forum.......
I am saying that if you look at it from a religious perspective, yes we will think oh the girl shouldn't be walking alone in a parking lot and even going to a bar! but these situations are very common here amongst the non-Muslims.
Again, accepting drinks from strangers is very normal. If the guy puts a drug in that drink, it's HIS fault! And if a girl consents to going home with a guy, he hits the jackpot but if she is drugged and taken to a strange place or the guy's place WITHOUT her consent, that is wrong and no matter what anyone says, and no matter what she is wearing and no matter how drunk she is, the guy is wrong and should be severely punished.

Oh and if a girl consents well and good but that does not mean rape. Rape is non-consensual sex. Heck even a husband can rape a wife and be jailed for it.
I find it really amusing how people are not grasping the idea that going to nightclubs and bars in the west is such a normal thing to do. It is the NORM. Get it? Everyone does it. If people and especially females thought that oh, we will avoid having some fun at the bar tonight because we might get raped then the bars and nightclubs will go out of business. No one thinks like that, or thinks negatively because let me STRESS on it again, it is the NORM.

Using the word blame for a rape victim is WRONG! What makes you think the situation is avoidable? So these girls shouldn't go to clubs? They are pretty much having fun in a manner that is perfectly acceptable in their culture and society. So they should stay away from clubs coz these clubs have creeps looming by? Why should they not be allowed to have a fun night out just because of these creeps? Shouldn't these creeps be kicked out and put in a mental institution or prison?

so if you're driving in a car on the highway, and a truck comes by and hits your car and you die, are you to be blamed? Because you 'should know' that driving a car on the highway with trucks zooming by is dangerous and there is a risk of your car getting hit and you dying?

No where did she say a person is drunk while driving on the motorway or highway. Driving is dangerous and risky. You are always at a risk and have to be vigilant but does that mean you stay at home and don't go anywhere? No!

Exactly, how brilliantly you use the most appropriate words to convey your thoughts. It does skew our perception. We should not be biased and see it from a neutral perspective. It is the normal thing to do. Even the people in the west usually enjoy it in a fun normal way, it is only some creeps who give a bad after taste in the mouths of everyone. It is hard to grasp dear cherry because some people might lack the appropriate comprehension skills or either they don't want to grasp it and come up with nonsensical refutes.

Cherry jee, it is fine for a girl to go to a club, its fine for her to drink, but it is also her responsibility to realise that no "creep" has it marked on his forhead that he is one, secondly at this day and age there are lots of frustrated psychos walking around and these places are their hunting grounds, thus being a lil cautious is better. Anyways RAPE is unforgivable crime and should have maximum penalty according to me cuz not only did he force his way in he actually scarred the victim for life and for this they should be hung.

Yes indeed, there for sure is some fault of yours if you get into an accident on a highway 9 times outta 10, there are multiple factors that can be the cause such as speeding, anger, road rage, alcohol etc. This is not even an argument :k:

Where did you get these statistics from? I know of 5 cases where a truck was coming in the opposite direction, spun and crashed into the oncoming traffic thus killing several people in a car. Why should the people in the car be blamed because the truck was driving really fast, spun and crashed into them head on? Should they be blamed because they didn’t get an epiphany 2 seconds before and didn’t swerve the car to the corner to avoid getting struck by the truck?
