God forbid that thought ever cross anyone’s minds. No, forget teaching our daughters how to deal with bad guys, lets turn them into prisoners for the sins of others.

I know this is a troll, but there are people who seriously believe that women should suffer/be punished for the ills of others…all in the name of religion…makes me sad for the future.

No. It's not halal because they can get it on in the backseat. This is how the automobile changed morality in America and everything went to Hell.

Considering that Islam tells women not to leave their houses unless accompanied by mehrams, does that make it haraam for a woman to drive on her own? Have the Saudis got it right? Well I’d say they have, it’s like killing two birds with one stone, you’re shariah compliant AND you have a lot less dangerous drivers on the road.

I guess the indian pakistani drivers that take those arbeeyan to places are mahrams, just like how saudi men selling undies to their women is halal as well.

lets get this straight

Generally, it is impermissible for a woman to travel the distance of three days (equivalent to 48 miles) without her husband or a Mahram (unmarriageable kin) accompanying her.
There are many clear narrations of the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him & give him peace) in this regard.

1. Sayyiduna Abu Sa�id al-Khudri (mayAllah be pleased with him)  narrates that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him & give him  peace) said: �Let no woman travel for more than three days unless her  husband or a Mahram is with her�. (Sahih Muslim).
   

2. Sayyiduna Abd Allah ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with him) narrates  that the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him & give him peace)  said: �A woman must not travel for three days except with a Mahram�.  (Sahih al-Bukhari, no. 1036 & Sahih Muslim).
   

3. Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) narrates that  the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him & give him peace) said: �It  is unlawful for a woman who believes in Allah and the last day that she  travels the distance of one day and one night without a Mahram  accompanying her�. (Sahih al-Bukhari, no. 1038).
   

4. Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the  Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him & give him peace) said: �'A  woman must not travel except with a Mahram and a man must not enter upon  her except if she has a Mahram�. (Sahih al-Bukhari, no. 1763).
   

I ain’t trying to bill maher or something, but the list top to bottom basically contradicts each other.

Yes, it is the haraamest of all harams. Taubah Astaghfirullah kay ek aurat relieves her husband of grocery shopping, picking/dropping kids to schools, appointments, masjid, swim lessons, or be able to pick him up from the airport instead of spending $100 on a taxi or begging his friend for a ride at 5 am in the morning, let alone go to work and all [woh toh bohot duur ki baat haim qiyamat aa jaye gi]. . So yeah, it’s haraam.
