skilled professionals are not always well dressed, sorry my techie bhaio, but many techie types just live in a diff world.
seocndly, on how you dress there is the factor of ability and then awareness. same amount of money can buy clothes that look better in terms of body type, current style, color combos..so much of it has to do with awareness, and that is exposure, company people keep etc etc. many factors.
No making fun just when there are looks that make ppl stick out like a sore thumb and dont look flattering where a little care and thought could have produced much better results.’
the variances we see are mostly due to socio economic groups and amount of time in the country and how integrated they are with society at large on a daily basis. you will notice a huge variation in middle east because of bankers vs blue collared workers, and again the ability and awareness becomes a factor..and then speaking of exposure and integration in families and groups where lets say the ladies are less educated and not working, the awareness, and for many the perceived need to really fit in is not there..as evident in many areas in UK even, they do their own thing. and they may look good at specific desi events of the community, but not on a day to day basis.
interesting topic though. many factors, many variables at play
im just saying, the dress sense varies completely.... depending on where bouts u r from.. i have observed
true dat..where abouts you are from, and where are you in you life..place/social group/work type etc etc

Prior to marriage, these very guys slick it up and try to look all chiknay and hawt and haute.
Then after marriage, all that goes poof?
I think majority of guys who slick it up before wedding try to do that afterwards as well.

then you help them, not because of sho sha, but poor dressing sense and grooming will come in the way of careers...or most careers I would say.

I think alot of people have a misconception about why women wear makeup ! Makeup accentuates features it does not change what you look like!
Women, I think, should always look groomed...its good for your overall well being and it makes you feel good, but it shouldn't be an obsession!

Why do desi woman look better than desi men?
I think its because of the grooming and make-up. Do our men just not groom as well, or enough? Or are they just inheritenly messed up looking to the point of no return?
Neither grooming nor makeup. Us men are just programmed to be attracted to females and not other males. If you find women more attractive, there's got to be a glitch in your system.
