*Has there been no positive contribution either by MQM or Altaf Hussain to Pakistani society? *
why not I should talk positive contribution of MQM in Karachi? Whether we agree or not people of Karachi have been selecting them and still not rejected them in totality.
They have a vote bank and followers in rural Sindh as well. They are present to help people in times of natural calamities like flood and earth-quake.
My point is when almost all the political parties are same, their leaders are involved in corruption (no one is doodh main dhula- hamaaam main saare nange hain) then why Altaf Hussain gets big share of hatred. It seems that we all are ready to forgive those who looted the country, killed their political rivals, separated the country, but we are not ready to say few good things about Altaf Hussain. We are not ready to consider what makes him such a bad guy.
Dude, make up your mind. MQM contributed positively only in Karachi or ALL of Pakistan?
Why are you again comparing it to other political parties?
Lets just focus on how MQM has contributed positively to Karachi and its people.
As a Historian, I think I can differentiate between a question and propaganda.
Have a look at all your posts again, from top to bottom.
How its a propaganda, when I myself saying ' I myself don't love him'.
I'm saying saying he is not that different from other politicians. I'm just trying to explore the reason and calling a person who raise such questions as Propagandist doesn't answer my question. It just strengthen point that this is Allah waste ka bair. hate for the sake of hate.
There are million of jiyals still in love with Bhutto who said to Bengalis 'idhar hum, udhar tum' and similar things. He is loved by many political leaders. One can easily find stories about Bhutto's atrocities if he does a little research, but again he is loved.
Another very very silly comparison. It's actually ridiculous.
Bhutto despite all his political faults was a genuinely intelligent individual. He was insanely charismatic and be because of that he got away with saying a lot of politically incorrect things. He had a very impressive personality and could mesmerize the masses like no one's business hence he was considered the first truly national leader after Jinnah (unlike Altaf who just controls a city and certain group of people through guns) Now mind telling us why Altaf Hussian becomes the butt of every joke whenever he opens his mouth, why he just can't capture public's imagination and raise their spirits like Bhutto?

Of course he's different. Other politicians can talk like humans while Altaf just sounds like unleashed monster hungry for blood. He as a personality is simply not tolerable in any way or form. He's embarrassing and his mannerism is downright disgusting. I think you got your answer.

GO
MQM contributed in Karachi as well as rural Sindh. Comparison is necessary as loving one culprit from a party and hating other person with same traits is not justified.
Don't you know what are the contributions of MQM for Karachi?
If a road is made by Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore, everyone go gaga. Same services are there by MQM for Karachi and Hyderabad, where they got chance to serve. if Shahbaz Sharif is self-claimed Khadim e aala then Mustafa Kamal is not behind him.
If Imran Khan builds Shokat Khanum hospital, it is considered as biggest service to humanity. Why people can't see cardio centres build up in Karachi during MQM's Mustafa Kamal's period.
This is what people call contribution in my poor country and if others did that service, then MQM was not far behind when they got chance.

There is no cure to personal hatred. No further point discussing this issue with you. period.
Stop juding and throwing personal attacks in every discussion. It really makes you silly not us
charisma of feudal lord (Tehmina Durrani was also under same spell of Mustafa Khar). If a person lacks some features, it doesn’t give us a chance to hate him.. and call him kala nag. hamare zehnon main palte huwe kaale naag, uss sanwli rangat wale aadmi se kai guna ziada zehreele hain…

Shall I call your behavior as blind love for a criminal? No right.
So how about you actually consider (for your own peace of mind) that Altaf Hussain's mannerism plays a huge part in public not taking him seriously? Despite the fact NS looted billions of money from Pakistan, wasn't it you who said that he's much more pleasing to the ears than Imran Khan? Can we say the same thing about Altaf Hussain's public conduct?

Every person got its time. there was time, when Altaf Hussain was eloquent enough to attract public.
As far as my comment about IK Vs Nawaz relates, it was about personal insults and using terminology like Noora, etc which was not expected from an oxford graduate. This discussion doesn't have to do anything about that. I've known your reason for hating Altaf Hussain and that is lack of charisma. so we don't need to further discuss and start throwing personal attacks at each other.
How’s it charisma of feudal lord, when feudals had always dominated Pakistan politics before and after him yet no one could capture nation’s imagination and become a truly national face like Bhutto? Even when Imran was gathering monstrous crowds from small villages to big cities, there’s always the idea that naaa he’s isn’t on Bhutto’s level yet in terms of oratory (in politics, you simply cannot underestimate this feature - at one point, it literally becomes everything and the only thing to win the public)

There you go. You got your answer. Even a truly loved national hero, a well respected South Asian icon could upset some people for politically sledging an opponent. How do you expect people to remotely appreciate someone who habitually makes long embarrassing, insulting and dangerous speeches under the influence of alcohol? Pakistan has free media there are 20 different news channels now to run Altaf Hussain's moronic wailing, how do you expect youngsters or educated member of the society to call someone a leader and serious politician who talks like BaaaaaaaasAAAAAaaaaaaaaZZZZZZZZ AAAAAAAAAA jaaaaaOOOOOOOOO NAHTI touuuuuuuuu NAHI TOUUUUUUUUUUUUU KARACHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII TORRRRRRRRRRRRRRR DOOOOOOOOOOOOOON GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Do you see the point? The public hates Zardari lot more than Altaf Hussain yet if given a choice they'd rather listen to Zardari's speech than go through the torture of listening to Altaf Hussain simultaneously seething, screeming, singing, laughing and crying like a toddler in one ago.

so why didn't you take criticism against Imran Khan while he called nawaz Sharif 'Noora' and Shahbaz Sharif 'Shobaz', 'Sher ka shikar kardoonga' and bla bla bla instead of being truly loved South Asian icon and Oxford graduate as compared to Karachi University graduate who passed his life in slums of lalu Khet and Jehangir Road.
This doesn't reply my question. It just confirmed that people pick someone to hate on personal choices.

Election campaigning gets ugly even most developed and civilized countries. But unlike Altaf Hussain, if Imran can indulge in political sledging in front of thousands of people in flow of passion, he's also capable of making wonderful speeches, giving inspiring talks to university students and Pakistani youth, answering all tough journalistic questions, he has the intellectual ability and mannerism to debate and talk about Pakistani politics on international forums and news channels (there are millions of examples of brilliance of his public conduct). Can Altaf Hussain do that to command national respect apart from ruling a certain fraction of certain ethnic group?
I am replying to your question you just don't want to accept any other answer accept what you already have in mind and what you want to advocate here.

so his lack of command on public speech give us right to hate a person. In personal lives many of us are not good at speech, does this give us chance to hate such people?
If a person is civilised, he should be civilised all the time. Talking against political rivals using bazari terminology during election campaign can't be brushed away, if on other side we got a right to hate a person just because he lacks qualities and charisma to attract people through his speech.
