It was present in almost all the cultures of world, even in some cultures men followed it.
Why it has become sign of backwardness, women detention, confiscation of human rights all of sudden.
Is this ‘Allah waste ka bair’ with a religion or something else?

But purdah predates Islam. It was there in one or other forms. North India's 'goonghat', Punjab's 'doli' / Palki are types of purdah followed by people irrespective of their religion.

true...but i am talking about Islam. if you see a mennonite woman from a distance, you would think that she is a Muslim woman in niqaab. parda is a part of ALL the religions. same reason in every religion why they don't do parda anymore...and, that is apne deen, dharam aur religion se doorii! juN juN Allah kaa Khauf dil se nikaltaa gayaa tuN tuN parda sar se utarta rahaa!

How do you counter argue the argument that purdah result confiscation of women right to education profession, etc?
I've seen purdah daar lady Doctors, Chartered Accountants, Teachers, etc in Pakistan

i've seen Hijaabi women working as professionals here in Canada...its just the propaganda and Islam haters who come up with such arguments. Islam and Purda is in NO way as a hindrance in the performance of a Muslim's or Muslimah's duties.

I’ve seen purdah daar MALE Doctors, Chartered Accountants, Teachers, etc in Pakistan and else where as well. 
Males are also required to have some purdah,of eyes and sattar and interaction limits with opposite sex.

niqaab is Indian/Pakistani version of Hijaab...in Islam, Hijaab is required, NOT burq'a or niqaab.
i've seen quite a few burq'a posh girl students in schools but never at a regular/professional place of work.
