Thanks for your good advice. I will send him to Punjab college InshaAllah. God bless you.
Well no need to thanks. It's what my opinion is. I have just done my FSc (Pre Engg). Infact, the number of students getting higher & higher scores in FSc is increaing tremendously. Last year, in Lahore Board there were around ( I read it in Jang newspaper during August 2008 ) nearly 2100 FSc students scored A+ grade. ( A+ grade is only awarded to those who get 880 + marks in FSc.) And believe me, there were only around nearly 700 from PreEngg and 1400 nearly from PreMed. And they are from one Board only.
Infact, my own cousin who had got 901 in her FSc failed to get into any Medical College of Govt. of Punjab. She is studying MBBS at LMDC a private med college where her father is destined dto pay RS 5 LAKH PER YEAR.
sO THE BOTTOM LINE IS
'' Cadet colleges like Hassanabdal are excellent ; they groom their students ; develop them ; involve them in too many extracurricular acts but most of their students do not get excellent score in FSc. A high score in FSc may not be a criteria for determining the abilities of a student but for getting admission to a med college not only a high BUT A VERY VERY HIGH FSc score is needed. Low FSc marks can let you into PVT MED COLLEGES but there fee is in lakhs. In Govt Sector the colleges are more reputed and standardised and you have to pay only 20 thousands a year as tuition fee''
I hope you get my point.
