you mean urdu and Punjabi? What do you think Urdu script can cater all the sounds of Punjab properly?
Re: Why Punjabi is not taught in Pakistani schools?
I know Balochi and Pashto are used as medium of education in Balochistan and KPK. I myself studied in Sindhi Medium Schools. Why they don't use Punjabi as a medium in Punjab?
I'm not sure whether Punjabi is taught as a language at school level. Here in Sindh we were taught English, Urdu, Sindhi as well as Arabic languages at school level. Recently they were going to introduce Chines language too :D
could be a reason that there are no punjabi qaum parast.

Thats another topic beyond this forum's jurisdiction. I think protecting your mother tongue and transferring it to your next generation is the best quality, whatever it is named by others.

Re: Why Punjabi is not taught in Pakistani schools?
Does that mean Punjabi also suffered in India due to politics?
No, I don't think so, seprate punjab state dominated by sikhs in population made punjabi(gurmukhi script) as medium of instruction, Hindus in punjab also speak in punjabi, same is with pahadi of himachal which was influneced by punjabi, for haryanavis they always spoke in haryanavi, khadi boli of hindi for centuries, Punjab suffered a lot but not punjabi:)

I appreciate KP and Sindh in this regard even if it was possible due to qaum parast. I love my mother tongue too.
