Besides, there are so many different opinions here. I see that either way we are seen as traitors whether we decide to be a part of Pakistan or not.
i really dont get this... wallahi... nationalism should be thrown down the bin, a lot pashtoons do want for nwfp and baluchistan to be merged with afghanistan... and are very hostile towards pakistani's, so upsetting, a pashtun posted up this picture on a afghan website, just wondering if this what pashtoons really want?
i love pashtoon Muslim people , but its such a shame when u get the rascist one's who hate punjabi's and pakistani's, and talk about land stealing, i wont paint them all with the same brush because they dont deserve to be... and the same can be said about punjabi's sindhi's etc. with regards to pasthoons.

Its an interesting lookin map.........All Afgans want is to have some kind of access to sea. They have all sorts of natural resources (Good for them) but they know they ill have to depend on a country with a deep sea port i.e either pakistan or Iran, As they know very well that a land locked country no matter how loaded with resources will need a sea port to fully utilise its resources. so i will not be surprised if they come up with a claim that some part of Iran used to be Afghans.
Although its sad to see people for whom you have given up so much and suffered so much as a nation turn against you But thats not the issue here. Issue here is pakistan and trust you me there are enough Pakistani patriotic Pushtoons out there. Its only a matter of getting them out and making sure that they make themselves heard. No one and i mean no one has the right to discard the pushtoon feelings of greviance but what we need to do is to sensibly analyse the situation. Is there biased treatment among provinces ? Yes there is but personally i think the only province with a real claim of neglect is Balochistan and i am not a Baloch . So what do we do. Go our separate ways. There will only be one winner in that case and that will not be one of us.
Pakistan needs Pashtuns or Pashtun land and Pashtuns need Pakistan for the time being at least.
Instead of seceding Pashtuns should fight for their rights within Pakistan so that all ethnicities in Pakistan will benefit, we can start by merging all Pashtun regions into a Pashtun province and then we should be given political and cultural autonomy like the other provinces.
Instead of trying to create a homogneous country which is never going to happen and only mean disaster for Pakistan, Pakistanis should respect each others diversity and indivduality and just be a union of states, a federation.
Likewise Pashtuns in Afghanistan should be vary of cultural imperialisation from the Dari speakers and maintain their identity and independence within Afghanistan and there should be good relations between Pashtuns on both sides because regardless of political setups they are one people and there should be good relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan which will benefit both countries.
The Pashtun regions under Pakistan are a second home to Pashtuns of Afghanistan and the Pashtun regions of Afghanistan are a second home to Pashtuns from Pakistan.

The Afghan labourers work more on lower salaries compared to Paki pakhtuns, they have also overtaken the business specially in Quetta and have used much Badmashi.

Smurf Afghanistan got great influence in Afghanistan after Soviet left ,but wut was the result ,if Pakistan has done any thing good there then i would have think otherwise but since Pakistan made it a pile of mud ,our peoples r practically left behind in Baloachistan n NWFP ,we didnt even got a name let alone have rights over our own resources .

We achieved a lot more, read a THOUSAND, MILLIONS times more in 59 years than what Afghanistan has achieved in its ENTIRE history. There's simply no comparison between poor, bombarded Afghanistan and thriving cities of Pakistan. We're getting the bulk of the investment NOW in the mideastern/central asian region abt 4 Billion dollars a year, and not begging for 100 million loans like u guys ;)
See this is the problem, zgard graana stop wasting your time wiht them, none of them are pakhtana, or are aware of pakhtun history(except a few). So as long as you and I preach for the betterment and unity of pakhtuns aka Afghans they will act like this. They will always label like-minded pakhtuns as muhajirs. They like those pakhtuns or Pathans should I say that speak dari and urdu and forgot all about pakhtunwali. I say end this topi it always ends with this.

Dasbz khan mian, unity of Pashtoons for their betterment is the greatest thing for them as well as for the region. How could someone ever argue against that?
However the essence of "betterment" is based on peaceful living and not on "tribal anarchy".
