Why does a controversial topic attract more people? Why are people so eager for any controversial news? always looking for mirch masala :D?

everyone's life & routine is full of monotony ..... so something controversial and gossip worthy tend to attract u more, u know just for the heck of change and fun

I knew that mirch masala is very popular in desi people. I have even seen desi candy with mirch masala in it. That is why I thought my nick itself will attract more audience.
Hey guys lighten up. GS is all about having fun, chit chat, mirch masala , controversy. If it did not have it all it would be as silent as grave yard . And you would be knitting sweaters for fun.
I thought I should add it here too so that it will start another controversy as to what knitting a sweater has to do with the topic of this thread.:)
