Why MQM gets votes and what can be done about it [split: Election Results]

YOu are right, but I had hoped for them loosing seats after all they played a huge role on 12th May 2007…but Its a blind support as you say. We need another Babar to clean up the mess.

Re: Election Results for the National Assembly

 what do you propose another Babar to do? Go through who voted for MQM and kill them?

Re: Election Results for the National Assembly

We dont need any Babar no more to cleanup anything.Politics of MQM in Khi has changed. Now you cant robb people 'n claim you are clean. Biggest move is Altaf's new statement that, he is willing to talk to PML N & PPPP.

Re: Election Results for the National Assembly

ya his party wants to own those banks.
lol...his party is just using him for telephonic khitab now.

Re: Election Results for the National Assembly

We are talking of blind support regardless of the fact that innocent were targeted on 12 May..which was fully ok for you then. Cleaning up the mess means disarm those thugs and get rid of that “Bhai attitude” and the guddha raj in KHI once and for all.

Re: Election Results for the National Assembly

sad thing is that it's otherway around. HE runs the COMPANY from his telephonic KHITABS.

Re: Election Results for the National Assembly

A party of AH can not change...he is a threat to patriotism and nationalism.

Re: Election Results for the National Assembly

ah what a naive attitude! do you know which city always remained the strongest hold of MQM? no it's NOT karachi. it's HYDERABAD, even in 1992 when MQM was split, HYDERABAD remained MQM's strong hold. and believe me a large population there doesn't like MQM's attitude but they STILL vote for MQM.. guess why!

Re: Election Results for the National Assembly

Incidentally it was also equally fully okay for me to collect all the cats in the world and drown them.

You pull baseless assertions out of your ass and think you can put people on the defensive. You neglect the fact that it makes many of your posts bald faced lies.

That wouldnt change the fact that they have a loyal votebase.

Re: Election Results for the National Assembly

Ok and what of that makes me think is contradicting with my post?
Please enlighten m on why they still support the MQM...let me guess coz they all consider themselves as treated bad by the evil Punjabis?

Re: Election Results for the National Assembly

a lot of innocent urdu speaking ppl were killed because of your Babar...I"m no supporter of MQM but you have to understand terrorist elements are present in every party.

Re: Election Results for the National Assembly

Good judgement. I consider MQM is a peace loving party, whos leader is as humble and nobel as any messiah. More over I'm consider to be the ONLY one in this world, who believes MQM was holding ak47 pointing at innocent people of Pak. THus I am a liar.

[/quote]

Right, If they feel they have been treated like trash over the years by the rest of Pak then lets all cry. When they shoot to kill then no one is ordered to cry. Is that what you stand for? My very definition of justice.

Re: Election Results for the National Assembly

Lol @ all MQM cheahlas pulling their defending string. No matter what you guys say but MQM is responsible for May 12. I wish instead of blindly supporting that Altaf goons these MQM cheahlas would use their brains...

Re: Election Results for the National Assembly

oh get over it, this shows you know nothing about Sindh's politics and HOW MQM came into being. you know about QUOTA system? Introduced in 1973? I dun think so. EVIL Punjabis slogan was adopted by Jeye Sindh movement led by G M Syed. MQM follwed when they changed their policy in late 90's in attempt to be on friendly terms with SINDHI nationalist parties. HYDERABAD suffered the most during the era between 1973 till 1995. Since Hyderabad is considered URBAN SIndh hence it's URBAN Sindh's 40% QUOTA is shared with KARACHI. thats why they support MQM.
and MQM, sorry to say did nothing for them.

Re: Election Results for the National Assembly

Gaining seats where MQM didn't succeeds in past is a surprise...NO?

Re: Election Results for the National Assembly

MQM always had 14 15 seats the most, and it's NOT gonna change this time.
and IF they GAINED some seats what does that prove? lets suppose MUshy made a deal with them and there was some rigging; CAN MQM make a government on it's own?

what saddens me is the fact that SIndh card is ALIVE again, and prove is in results from Sindh.

Re: Election Results for the National Assembly

Maybe you are right…mitti paou. Coz crazy people who vote for Terrorists exist every where. I respect that :k:

Re: Election Results for the National Assembly

That is how MQM started off and remained that way for long time, "Urdu speaking" people got hijacked/isolated from other ethnicities. After that they almost own 'urban Sindh'. Late 90s many people turned away from MQM but they still enjoy very strong support. What can you do/say when supporters of party say "hamayn manzil nahi rahnuma chahiye".

Re: Election Results for the National Assembly

exactly, and MQM is cashing on it... let me ask a question from any1 just mentioned 12th of May. 30th September 1988 rings any bells? (do not google please)

Re: Election Results for the National Assembly

tu kisi dhang keah insan ko rehnuma banain na... don't make a mass murderer your rehnuma, you won't get anywhere.
