EVIL Punjabis slogan was adopted by Jeye Sindh movement led by G M Syed. MQM follwed when they changed their policy in late 90's in attempt to be on friendly terms with SINDHI nationalist parties. HYDERABAD suffered the most during the era between 1973 till 1995. Since Hyderabad is considered URBAN SIndh hence it's URBAN Sindh's 40% QUOTA is shared with KARACHI. thats why they support MQM.
and MQM, sorry to say did nothing for them.
well that will not solve the problem we have, will it? if 186K+ are gone crazy in just one constituency, then there is something really wrong basically. what amazes me why other national parties like PPP and PML failed to attract these people.

Imran Khan could better represent MQM if they elect him as their new leader instead. He has spoken more about the rights of 'urdu speaking' people who btw have long been 'hijacked and manipulated', than anyone else. He's definately more qualified or Qualified (altogether), compared to Altaf Hussain. "Urdu speaking" people are mostly educated, so why not elect someone who's at par with their expectations. :)
He has urged time and time again that their struggle was their right, and they should spread throughout the country and become a mainstream party, not a regional group.

it WILL happen eventually of course, hanging him will only bring some OTHER ALTAF up and this will start over again. if TODAY PPP announces that it will abolish quota system in Sindh and DOES not shares government with MQM, it will start a downfall for MQM over night (without shedding a single blood drop) but sadly PPP will NEVER do that.

because of PPP's policies in interior Sindh. that would be a political suicide for PPP in interior Sindh since 90% of their votebase is Sindhi speaking and PPP just can't rob them of 60% of Sindh's resources (more than 80% of which comes from URBAN Sindh)

my cousin was telling every has supported MQM in this election and why wouldn't they? All the educated middle class support MQM because they don't have choice. They would rather support MQM even though MQM has done things they're not proud of than PML, ANP, PPP and MMA clowns.

It’s just sad that the leadership would not be revolved. Most of bad name MQM has earned is due to Altaf Hussain and his mentality overshadowing the party. Without him, the party could very well spread and become a major force in the entire nation.
Some people have been crying that all along, and they’re not even allowed to come to the city. Think for the best of the people and this is the treatment you get.

As I have said there is no better option than voting for a mass murderer. I must say KHIs "educated" middle class has definately no choice whatsoever..bechare...but as long as Its not them and their families who are the target of this terrorist party they vote for them. Its all fine.
