I think they do notice the overall effect- like your eyes look bigger, or your skin looks really great etc or you look skinnier or taller - but they won’t hone in on the embellishment of your shoes which you cleverly matched with these earrings you bought just to match them.

I think they’ll just notice that you have sparkly earrings on, and heels.

I think it differs from man to man. This guy in my class once told me i have a hair strand sticking out of my chin. And he sits in the back row and I sit at the front. (I never cut that strand off for like 2 weeks! just to experiment if anyone else observes that..)
