as far as i see this bachelor practice (dont know why they call it master) has two major medical effects on a human body..
first, it effects short and long term memory

And anyway, why is everyone so quick to point the finger of blame at Western culture. There was no America some 250 years ago, so Masturbation had to come from somewhere! Maybe most cultures don't do it, but others do in some way or form.
I think it's great that my society allows weird forms of sexually expression. We can't deny our own sexuality, or that sex exists.

stephie most american (means more than 50% have tried drugs this is a fact try any american source and u will get the point...its not just america though) ... as for ur point on more sexual freedom... we are not animals (better than animals ..yeah of course by defination we are animals but if ur religious u will agree that the God has given us better control and better awareness and we can think better than chimps I THINK!!!) we have to use our will power and according to bible its wrong as well... and u just said masturbation might be healthy then i can argue that smoking or doing drugs is healthy... like masturbation they also have advantages but their advantages ** are far less than their disadvatages ** it effects u physcially and mentally.... and can be dangerous too... One part I have to agree with the last article posted there is the depression and mental stress a person can face as an aftermath.
Yes it fulfills the lusts, especially when for muslim people who are frustrated at not being able to have sex before marriage. It helps out quite a bit.
However, it leaves the person more isolated. It makes them more isolated because they feel as if they have cut themselves from society; not because of the act they have done but because their human desire to want ‘that special someone’ is stronger than ever before now. And now they are worried that they may not find that special someone. Its the companionship that’s wanted. Sex gives the companionship; and after masturbating they know they need the sexual companionship, and just the overall companionship more than ever before. And so, the result is more isolation, loneliness, and even depression.
