Exactly, deen belongs to Allah, so I don't understand how can we, as humanbeings undertake to 'reform' and 'adjust' it. For instance, I don't remember seeing anywhere in the Quran where it says, "okay this particular decree expires by such and such a time'. Honestly!

The reason why there aint one....is coz were better than that,....we dont wanna promote beauty like its the major thing coz it aint ....theres alot more to sum one than their ouside beauty...
personally i reakon the girls that take part in his sort of comp are sad individuals who have nothing better to do...then to try to make the world think they are pretty.

i dont think women has to go to beauty contest to prove they are fine examples of human race. why women has to be presented as objects of beauty??
the competition should be one's intellect and inner beauty, show their success in prefessional life, knowledge etc.
what and a women achieve to project herself as object not as person? how can you call it a success when beauty is a God given!
though many would opt for this competition if allowed and some may will win it, we know we dont lack beauty in Pakistan.
hypocracy can be discuessed as well when many models do the same thing in so called modeling anyway.

I personally don't like beauty peagents because it's so boring - the women are in most parts very artificial in how they walk and present themselves. They added a talent part in recent years and barring exceptions, one ends up muting the tv during tha talent competition.
But it is as genuine a business venture and if I don't like it, flip the channel.
There is however a really atrocious side to it - there are a number of missy beauty contests where stupid parents push and push their little daughters to compete - they train and breed their own kid as if for a prize dog show.
As to the peagants being immoral, who the hell died and made these mullas God to decide what is honourable and what is not? aren't these honor guards the same sobs that decree revenge rape? that's very honoroble!
