when getting married, they give too much emphasis on clothes, jewellery, makeup, photography blah blah rather than person they're marrying. No offense but it's my personal experience, so if anybody is on the same boat or not ;), please share your views.

Miss Fariha. Baat paison ki nahin baat hai rishte k importance ki. Shaadi ka matlab sirf logon ki nazar mein in sub cheezon pe aa k khatam hojata hai. Nikah ka asal matlab hi loog bhool gae hain. Shaadi karo aur jaise dil chahe karo koi masla nahin par uss rishta ki importance ko bhi samjho.
when a lady gets married to a quality guy she'll focus on the relationship more but when she is getting married out of pressure from society or family just to fufill her duty, she might go all out and have her fun! ** To be honest guys only complain of this type of stuff if they cant afford to keep up.** You can have a great relationship and a great wedding, its a celebration of your relationship! If you are someone who likes simpler things choose a partner who is the same, you cant go for a girl who is affluent and say I'm simple so I wont give you anything!
It's not like that. I spent my hard earned buying whatever she wanted but in the end what I got? ***kicked. Money, girl both gone. The only thing I and people remember of my great wedding was the food. ;)

Thanks. I was joking but money never really matters to me, it comes and goes but I lost my precious time being in that relation which was never really exist from other side. Engagement one year, nikah for 2 years but after rukhsati only 2 months and everything is done and on the top it broke families being an inter-family marriage i.e. why my family prefers to marry outside.

agar hall waalo ka karobaar chamak raha he shaadiyo ki waja se tu is mein aap kyun jealous ho rahi he .... akhir hall waalo ki bhi familyaan hoti he un ke bhi baal bache he is mehangayi ke daur mein .....
