Why does Allah care if we eat pork or not?

Re: Why does Allah care if we eat pork or not?

yeah boii, You are best to ask question when this mod isnt around. haha.

I was going to create a thread about eating certain nuts in Islam but I better not now

Re: Why does Allah care if we eat pork or not?

Those bolded lines are very close to blasphemy and ridicule of people of faith. Quit pointing fingers at people who have faith due to your atheistic beliefs and lack of knowledge.

Re: Why does Allah care if we eat pork or not?

yes, but from what ive experienced from some people here is that they will try the hardest in making you feel like a moron, rather than answering people genuine queries, they would rather laugh/torment/ridicule etc you...

ive seen many dr zakir naiks lectures and some other respected muslims, and they never once answer back with such venom or call someone bordering on blasphemy, instead they use their intelligence and knowledge to answer the person queries however silly it may be....

when someone doesnt have that required intelligence or knowledge on their religion they either
a} keep quiet on it
b} get angry/rude/sling remarks about the questioners faith/laugh/argue for the sake of argument...

Re: Why does Allah care if we eat pork or not?

how is the first highlighted quote bordering blasphemy? lolz.

second maybe. If you were really sensitive one could pass the second quote as "bordering blasphemy".

Re: Why does Allah care if we eat pork or not?

fayax my friend, those were just my opinions and were in response to the questions over my intentions of posing these uncomfortable questions. MANY people of faith here on this forum, would say the same things about athiests, agnostics etc? Would I call that ridicule? no, I would respect that as a strong difference of opinions and will argue my case as to why they are wrong. Last thing, I would do is cry "blasphemy".

Do you always laugh at things you dont understand?

well a bunch of posters were calling atheist diseased humans. Did fayax ban them?

I dont really care what you cry about. And I am not your friend. Get those two things straight.

We are not talking about MANY people either.

There are matters that can be discussed with respect to all religions and then there are smirks and ridicules to people of faith. I think both you and I know the difference there. Change your tone and I have no problem with your questions.

I can only comment on things I am aware of. Those items you are referring to - I am not aware of them.

my friend fayax, I was giving you an analogy that what I have said is no where near blasphemy. Those opinions you quoted of mine would easily be used againist athiests and agnostics without anyone raising the hue and cry of "blaspehmy".

I agree with you. Religions should be discussed with respect. Since otherwise the discussion is fruitless. And I have done so in my posts. If you are extremely over-sensitive and perceive "blaspehmy" in the slightest of arguments aganist your beliefs, then I cannot do anything about that.

Again, I don't give a rodent's prosterior on whether you have a problem with me or not. I will continue to post my uncomfortable questions and challenge my faith where I deem necessary.

...and BOI "not my friend" I will keep and eye on you. Now go about your business...run along...

In the thread below fellow mods are accepting and agreeing to the notion that Atheism is a disease. Now if someone was to turn around and say Islam is a disease im pretty certain you would wipe them off the GS database.

That’s just hypocrisy, plan and simple.

You shouldn’t be certain about things that you are totally clueless about. I will do no such thing…since I cant.

See how wrong you can be?

my friend, be my guest. I would like to debate you on any of the threads.

Re: Why does Allah care if we eat pork or not?

ok guy

For that you would have to "read" and "grow up" quite a bit. I will wait..and if I am still alive, I will welcome it.

This is a religous thread...could you please clean your mouth a little and quit using initials that have filthy meanings?

[added] On second thought thats good enough reason for me to take action on your slickstar.

Yes I can do that.

Right and I think #2 is happending with our friend fayax here.

I guess what I find most ironic is that he's in Houston. One of the great attributes of US is the freedom of opinion in a civilized manner without any threats (be it voilence, or verbal). Us Pakistanis are way way away from that level of enlightment. But I just find it ironic that fayax is living in US, hopefully reaping the benefits of an open and free society, but cant tolerate the same for other people.
