If a strong difference of opinion is not tolerated (which doesn’t suprise me) and painted as “ridiculing faith”, I wouldn’t want to come here anyways. So I will continue to post as I have.

yeh boii, i can understand what you saying, if i ever aske dmy mum or dad any questions in regards to islam, i would the shockhorror look and my dad would shake his head, while my mum went off on a rant about how could you ask such a question sharam nahi aati, ladida.aa....
well the muslim population is nearly 2 billion, i doubt all these are all following the true way islam is meant to be followed.....every one of us commits sins, those of us that are born muslim, tend to take everything for granted and follow whatever our parents told us, thing is, yeh boi has a point, sometimes you need to find out for urself why certain things are the way they are, so that you can explain to a non-muslim why its that way...if my gori mate asked me why pork is banned, to be honest i wouldnt know......
so asking questions is good, thats the only way you can educate yourselves and your friends and alike....how are non-muslims converting into islam in their droves, because they enquired and asked questions and found it appeased them....they didnt just blindly follow something, thats why i see the converts to islam are far more practising muslims than any of us born muslims..

But for me, when I have doubts over Allah's existence, it's things like these that cement the idea that Islam was just a religon for 1400 years back. Perhaps since at that time pigs carried most of the diseases? And in my mind, a true God or religon should be everlasting.

Please let me reemphsize this and I have done this on numerous posts. While I may not agree with the different faiths (Islam, Judaism etc). I do not in any way want to ridicule them, since it takes you nowhere. I do believe you are personally hurt over my question, since if you follow anything blind, even the slight questions or opinions feel like bombshells. Believe my my friend, I have been through it myself. And I'm sorry about that - I don't mean to hurt your or anybodys feelings on this forum.
But I will continue to ask the questions I have. And challenge my faith with uncomfortable questions. For this, I never have and will apologize.

Well sure I can ask molvis, but then it defeats the purpose of this forum, doesn't it? Plus I want to get opinions of the forum members since I believe they have a wider perspective on things.
I don't know who fayax is and my question was not directed at him, it was open to all GS members.
