WHY do you not read namaz/wear hijab?

Re: WHY do you not read namaz/wear hijab?

you taking on so many people by yourself, nadz … that’s so :whistling:

Re: WHY do you not read namaz/wear hijab?

lol, i like being controversial...not following the crowd either.

really :konfused:

yeap. its taboo to mention religion witout the liberals rolling their eyes and looking out the window…

someone who even follows the basics of islam even someone who reads namaz, and then has a valid point on the topic of islam, is called a molvi…

who are we to point the racist, islamophobic finger at the western world.

Re: WHY do you not read namaz/wear hijab?

^ Yeah i’ve noticed that a lot these days.

Any Muslim who shows his faith outwardly is frowned upon even by fellow muslims… :cb:

I am quite a conservative muslim but then theres things i like which other muslims would say were quite liberall for example i am fond of many aspects of tribal culture which hardcore islamists would say was shirk…

So where do you go?

It’s like being jammed between a rock and a hard place… and you dont like it so when you lash out all of a sudden your the big terrorist?

Hello double standards anyone… for example if a gorra went off the hook and bashed someone oh dear he’s lost his wits.

But when a Muslim lad loses it and bashes someone hell breaks loose and sudenly he is an islamist thug?

Heck i might as well be a terrorist the way things are going these days,…

Re: WHY do you not read namaz/wear hijab?

You again clearly miss the point

Any Muslim who judges other Muslims’ choices, or acts all high and mighty deserves to be frowned upon

Look at this topic :omg:

:k:

Exactly. I dont understand why people feel offended in the first place.
Nobody is forcing you, so people please dont come up with self made conclusions.
And calling someone else a mullah only because she started this thread, thats pretty retard.

Reminds me of that incident in a local masjid here.

‘Liberal’ aunties litterally bullied away a lady from THE MASJID because she said something about revealing cloths. She wasnt personally attacking anyone. Lekin these women felt so offended that they started to attack her with bull**** arguments. Even when she was gone they were still talking about her.

Apparently truth hurts that much.

Re: WHY do you not read namaz/wear hijab?

^ Missing the point again

:omg:

Shak, you are definitely confused.

No where here have i seen somebody acting all high and mighty.
And nobody is looking down on some one.

Are you hearing those voices again?

Re: WHY do you not read namaz/wear hijab?

Nop, but I think you forgot to put on your goggles as you can’t seem to read

Look at this thread

The first pots itself

:omg:

What an utter joke

I don't know who you hang around with but everyone I know has the utmost respect for people who pray their namaz. It's people who shove religion down other's throat and people who try to tell us the way we practice our religion is wrong (like it's even any of their concern in the first place) Now, that's just annoying...

Ah, but they won't get this!

Your post like so many others will go over their heads.

Re: WHY do you not read namaz/wear hijab?

These are two different things people.
Shoving religion down someones throath is not the same thing as in general mentioning some basics teachings.

I am afraid it is

People do not want or need advice

When you are 100% perfect youself then go ahead

But since you aren't noone is noone will be, so telling others what to do is hypocrisy

no one is telling you how to be a muslim, the thread was asking simply, why we dont follow the basics farz of what a muslim is. why we are so proud to be one, is at times, confusing.

syraa- if someone tells you how you can be a better lawyer, doctor, nurse, teacher, human, woman, friend, wife, mother etc etc, we are happy to hear so. no one likes being told how they can be a better muslim....or even a muslim in this case...!

Re: WHY do you not read namaz/wear hijab?

You do realise that you are talking nonsense now, hain?

But cool, if you dont want somebody to tell you, then simply dont listen. Kaan silwa lo.

this sentence of you: **But since you aren't noone is noone will be, so telling others what to do is hypocrisy. **does not make any sense at all.

But you will not understand.

no its not. if i tell you/ask you to read namaz, surely youll get sawab for it, not me. whats my benefit. namaz parhni hai , you read it for urself, not for me or anyone else. so someone telling you, is a good thing. maybe, itl make me read as well. win-win situation.

i have a speeding ticket, i got fined and 3 points on my license, i then tell you not to speed......surely im a hypcocrite.

i drink alcohol knowing its bad for me, knowing the efftcs, yet i tell you not to drink it....hypocrit?

i do bad things, i try to refrain you from doing so too...hypocrite?

MAYBE, but to whose benefit.

Re: WHY do you not read namaz/wear hijab?

Alright thats enough. Back to talking about sex shall we?

Re: WHY do you not read namaz/wear hijab?

Dil Dil Pak I am talking nonsense?

Ok

:omg:

Learn English then maybe my sentences may make sense, or maybe grow some common sense

Nadz, being a doctor lawyer etc is a personal interest. There is no ‘God’ there. In religon we do worship a God hence HE will judge us on the choices WE make on our own. And frankly even with lawyers doctors if someone keeps repeating their ‘advice’ any person with an ounce of sense would find that annoying. Which is basically what our point is..

well DUH, thats my point...

hijab isn't the 6th pillar as far as I know, so why is it SUCH a hot topic?

And for all the "conservatives" how in the hell do you know if the "liberal" here doesn't read all their prayers, or is a decent person? OR sorry, do we have to be willing to kill someoen to be properly religious?

I have known many many people in my real life who practice Islam yet aren't preachy or shove it down your throat and aren't condescending.. And none of hte "conservative" Muslims in this thread fit that bill.
