Hum.....good question...why people leave Dubai for West?...

  1. better rights...
  2. because you dont want to be treated as 2nd class citizen if you are not Muslim Arab...
  3. because it is easier to become permanent resident or Citizen in other country...
  4. because I can yell back at american if he yells at me without fearing that laws will side with him....
  5. because good education system
  6. because better job opportunity
  7. better weather...

As queer said in previous page...what is good in Dubai? Only good thing I see is that it is closer to home...

OK! There are many issues, however, the one I dislike the most is discrimination. As a Pakistani, Indian etc you will start with a much lower salary on the same post, doing exactly the same things, compared to a Westerner. I had job offer from Etisalat which I turned down because of the same reason.

Despite all the issues in our country, I cannot think of making any other country apart from Pakistan as my home.
