Two reasons:
i) The packaged ones arent that good, and I like fresh stuff...
ii) The ones that wives make have alot of maamta in them, the ones I would make have too much baapta in them, and thats not a good thing, trust me!

Actually, I think he does have a point. I don't particularly know him but what he's saying is fair. I don't know if you girls have intentionally done it, but the title of this thread is just so generalizing against men. I mean, here you are in this thread talking about this specific 'MAN' and how he treats his parents/wife.. then why on earth put up "men" in the title? And then to ask "Who do men marry at all?" - I do understand why that would make a guy angry. Think about it, the way you've worded your posts - it paints all men with the same brush, which is just so not fair. Anyhow, I don't think it's about being short-tempered either, because I'm sure if a guy had put up a thread about all women in general and then mentioned he did it because of ONE specific example, all the girls wouldn't feel so good about it.

as for ur anger towards 'babul ki gudiya' i think u misunderstand her also... i read ur posts and i feel that u cudv phrased ur words in a more appropriate manner (sorry just my opinion) if u want people to lisen to u then speak nicely..remember our Propher saw spoke in the most beautiful manner even if sumthing displeased him...

ok! this guy never ever takes care of his parents, never says AOA or even hudahafiz to his parents. always stays away from home and related matters. all he is interested is that dad shud hand him over his share of property. now for that reason he expects his wife to be at her best behaviour all the time. where as parents think that they have every right to scold their bahu instead of confronting their son for this behaviour. everything the bahu says or does has to be wrong or unacceptable. i don't know what happened between them but poor wife has to bear the brunt. u keep my parents happy so they transfer me the property and what will become of the wife then? jo aapnay maa baap ka sagga nahin woh biwi say kasay sincere ho ga??????
1) if the guy is not fulfilling his obligations, does it mean his wife should not either?
2) if he was the best son and the inlaws still scolded the bahu then what?
so lets look at all moving parts here independently..whether or not he does what is right, the wife has to do what is right.
regardless of his relationship with his parents, if they are not acting properly, then she needs to take a stand and sort it so their communications are right.
right now it seems like one of those situations, that the compalinign wife has absolved herself of any and all personal responsibility in this matter.
is she going to do anything to fix things.
heck, I would expect a mature and sensible girl in this situation to actually try and not only have good terms with her inlaws, but try to help mend the relationship that the son has with his parents.
But that may be too much to ask.
