Maybe it have to do with the weather they live in through out the year, Mushtaq Ahmed Yousifi says if the weather of UK had not been this bad, the history of Sub-continent might have been different…

Why you care though , for each rude Brits there are 9 nice , charming , beautiful , friendly , Brits who have that great authentic English accent.

In general, i don’t find the brits snobby. The ones i met were actually quite nice and friendly. They do sound harsh though.
But when they speak english with their accent, i have to hear it trice to understand what they are saying

Actually, I think it’s just that Brits have an acquired sense of humour, and you either get it or not.

I love their sarcastic sense of humour… When I lived there I never found anyone being snobby…I think it is the sense of humour that makes everyone think that..

Brits are not snobby. Its just that their sense of humor and way of talking is quite un-american. And us desis are more used to american style of talking and sense of humor.
And like DP said above, you either get it or you dont.
