The website dawatislam writes alot on him and i would like to know who he is… many things written look like shirk to me.

I think Abdul Qadir Jilani Baghdadi (ra); en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abd_al-Qadir_al-Jilani

That's the only Guas-e-Azam I have heard of unless there is another one I don't know.

Hazrat Abdul Qadir jillani is indeed referred to as Ghaus e azam and Peeran e Peer.

Although some of the incidents stated ive already heard off...others i havent heard off!!!

But like the article says Allah swt rewards those close to him!

dawat-e-islami sometimes exaggerate but no doubt he is Imam of all Sufia till last day , one of the greatest saint of islamic history and appeared at that time when muslims were divided into different jahilliyah sects and practices and he cleared all those bidaah and jahilliyah concepts of that time prevailed withinhn muslims .

he/she posed his/her concern here to find out why it is or it is not shirk.

so please enlighten us all through ur research how it is or it is not a shirk?

ps. if the website praise him more than ALLAH SWT and his Sovereignty then it is shirk.

obviously it cant mean shirk like zobia just said .. so they prolly meant .. Bid'ah .. which is acceptable ..

and i do admit .. dawateislami do ..go over the top .. when praising Ghous e Azam .. not saying its wrong but .. not to a staus where .. they commit ... gunaah ..and give him a status .. yet Ghous e Azam isnt even near the dust of the sahaba ..

Ghous is a spirtual rank and at one time in Ummah , there is only 1 ghous in the whole world. When people call him ghaus dosent means that they call him literally so i dont think , its fall into shirk category

In that case might as well call him Allah/Razzak and 'not mean it literally'.

But Allah/Razzak are not ranks like Abdaal,Ghous,Qutb etc etc.
Again it depends upon Niyaat , if one thinks he can provide us with Rizq,children,health then its clearly shirk similarly goes for any sahabi like Ali(ra) who considers him as Mushkil Kusha also comes in line of Shirk

yeh why not .it is possible .. If pir Mihr Ali Shah Rahmatullah alai can raise a dead pigeon shot by an english man then anything is possible .. but keeping in Mind ... it happens ONLY ONLY with the will of Allah Almighty ..and something like this is called a Kiraamat ..

and anything done with the will of Allah by prophets is called Mu'jizah ..

So Mujizaats are a long gone days but not for Karaamaats .

^You believe whatever you like sir. I personally do not believe on these karamat, piri mudeedi, taawiz ganday stuff. I edited my post simply because not to have an argument.
