DaBest, [edited] Hezbollah protected you and your family only to bring you war, stop acting like a dog and support whats best for Lebanon and if you want to argue that Hezbollah is what’s best for Lebanon explain to me how their desire for war with Israel benefits the Lebanese people, I’m listening.
Re: Should Pakistan Support the Arabs now?
good point.
Re: Should Pakistan Support the Arabs now?
The war was brought to us by Israel when they bomb our civilians, take out our electricity and kidnap our civilians. Hezbollah has no desire for war, Israel brought the war onto us, by kidnapping our civilians, and we are defending ourselves.
Re: Should Pakistan Support the Arabs now?
i think you'll find, if you listened to the news a tad bit more, Lebanon is on defense, israel is on attack.. hence israel wants this war, and not the other way round.
Re: Should Pakistan Support the Arabs now?
Kidnapping civilians? Hezbollah's goal of freeing convicted killer Samir Kuntar brought war to Lebanon, how can you support this?
Re: Should Pakistan Support the Arabs now?
I have not seen any evidence that Kuntar is responsible, and if he is, then there should be a trial. Just letting him stay in a jail and torturing him isn't really helping Israeli-Lebanese relations.
And yes, Israel has kidnapped civilians other than Kuntar, including women and children. This is never reported by your biased media.

That is an interesting version of the story.
who started it, Israel or Hezbollah?
split from thread whether Pakistan should support Arabs or not.
Re: who started it, Israel or Hezbollah? (split from Should Pakistan support Arabs)
If the question is who started the whole conflict, then it's Israel because they invaded and occupied South Lebanon in the first place. I can understand the neccesity of invasion, but not for occupation. They simply did that to inflict pain and humiliation on the Lebanese people. There can never be peace until that injustice has been rectified.
Re: who started it, Israel or Hezbollah? (split from Should Pakistan support Arabs)
Did Hezbollah demand release of Kuntar and cite that as the reason of Israeli soldiers kidnapping? Did Israel kidnap other Lebanon/Syria civilians as well (other than Kuntar? Were such news of Israel kidnapping Lebanoni civilians covered by ANY media in Lebanon, Syria, Jorda, Egypt etc?
Re: who started it, Israel or Hezbollah? (split from Should Pakistan support Arabs)
Samir Kuntar was mentioned as were other detainees by Hezbollah as their reasoning for kidnapping the 2 soldiers. Al-Manar usually reports on Lebanese civilians taken by Israel, but I think al-Jazeera also mentioned it in passing about other Lebanese civilians in Israeli jails.
Re: who started it, Israel or Hezbollah? (split from Should Pakistan support Arabs)
^ when were those civilians kidnapped? and from where? any report on that?
Re: who started it, Israel or Hezbollah? (split from Should Pakistan support Arabs)
I’ll try to find out as best as I can. As far as I remember from what I have read, from time to time these civilians are kidnapped by Israel, and accused of being “terrorist”.
I think most of them though, were kidnapped during Israel’s occupation. Lebanese were kept as prisoners to use as bargaining chips for talks with Hezbollah, who were thought to have information about the IDF soldiers MIA in Lebanon and many of these Lebanese civilians are still in Israeli jails to this day.

Re: who started it, Israel or Hezbollah? (split from Should Pakistan support Arabs)
Do they report on the Lebanese prisoners held in Syria?
Re: who started it, Israel or Hezbollah? (split from Should Pakistan support Arabs)
If you have any reports on that, please share.
Re: who started it, Israel or Hezbollah? (split from Should Pakistan support Arabs)
I'm asking you if Al-Manar ever did a report on them. Syria had denied that they held any prisoners but then announced in 2005 that they would relase all Lebanese prisoners, amazing you can release prisoners you claimed you did not have. Any story about that on Al-Manar, how about a follow up?
Re: who started it, Israel or Hezbollah? (split from Should Pakistan support Arabs)
The two Israeli soldiers were captured by hezbullah on lebanese territory and not Israeli. Hence they are within their rights to capture and imprison any illegal aliens trespassing their land.
it is pretty obvious who is at fault here.
Re: who started it, Israel or Hezbollah? (split from Should Pakistan support Arabs)
Yes al-Manar did report that Syria would be releasing Lebanese prisoners. Al-Manar reports on everything concerning the Lebanese people.
You are still in your warped mentality that Hezbollah = Syria.

It was on Israeli soil Ma Mooli.

Completely wrong.
The soldiers were captured on Israeli soil, and other Israelis soldiers were killed on Israeli soil. The kidnapped soldiers were then dragged off into Lebanon and Israelis pursued them into a trap that had been laid with massive bombs under the road. Two more soldiers were killed, and it took days to recover their bodies.
Bigger wars have started for smaller incidents.
Get your facts straight Ma.
