As in some people apply it on their face at night, or used in facials etc. Please can someone tell me what the benefit's of using it are, or the purpose.
Hi there. Rosewater is really fantastic for the skin and there's a rose product rage going on in the market these days. We desis have known the benefits for years though :) basically the rose is a relative of the strawberry family and is packed with Vitamin C (which we all know is excellent for toning and clarifying the skin regardless of skin type). The key however is to find the genuine thing as most desi rosewater brands use distilled water with a little bit of rosewater added to it or sometmes none at all! Expect to pay about 15 quid at least.
Someone mentioned they got a mild rash with rosewater.....most probably it was a bad product. People with dry skin can experience mild irritation due to the high vitamin c content, but applying moisturizer right after should take care of that.
