Re: Who is supporting Pak: India decided to support ICC- BD, SL supporting PK
Lara did not walk out of the match …hmmm
So as per ICC & Your logic
Lara can do “small” crime whever he is “upset” becasue of small reason (delay in decision) but Inzi can not do “big” crime if he is upset because of “big” reason (he and team was called a cheat without any proof)
Re: Who is supporting Pak: India decided to support ICC- BD, SL supporting PK
It is even on BBC so I doubt if it is incorrect.
Again it really doesn't matter if Indian Channels are against ICC or Hair. As I said all that matters is joint support from Asian boards including BCCI.
Re: Who is supporting Pak: India decided to support ICC- BD, SL supporting PK
seocndly: everyone gets emotional when it is their side involved, remember India and Tendulkar ball tampering. You need to check your posts from that era here.
WRONG!...Only the enslaven Pakistanis were willing to play...in case you didn't notice the English batsmen did not show up either along with the umpires after Paksitani players idiotically and ignominiously went back on the field, with Nasim Ashraf thumbs upping as some Roman Emperor to spare the lives of the pathetic out of shape fat gladiators of Pakistan...
Re: Who is supporting Pak: India decided to support ICC- BD, SL supporting PK
Fair and Balance:
I am not sure if anybody will agree with me here, but here's how I look at it.
I would have preferred for Inzi and Co. to protest in ways other than playing for some time and then not coming out, however, I approve of what they have done, NOT BECAUSE it was the RIGHT thing to do, but because sometimes in life, IT IS RIGHT TO DO THE WRONG THING.
Inzi, and I think all Pakistanis admit that we did a wrong thing, but we did it for the RIGHT reasons.
My guess is that Pakistan would have reacted differently to a "false" ball tampering verdict issued by any other umpire. However, the officious and arrogant manner of Hair, combined with his history with us, and his appointment despite our protests BEFORE this match, is what made this A RIGHT STAND TO TAKE at this time, even though, our means (not playing) were arguably wrong.

India treating this as another Pakistan-India SAARC conflict of interest. Never expected any thing else from them.
Guys, check out Kapil Dev comments ,, not a great wiseman afterall
Re: Who is supporting Pak: India decided to support ICC- BD, SL supporting PK
where are the BCCI official comments?
all i've heard from the indian side is that they believe that Hair's actions were unacceptable so long as the ball was not tampered. this is far from taking an anti-Pakistan position.
this seems like common sense to me. it is true that Pakistanis have cheated in the past particularly with regards to the ball, as have Indians and many others, so i don't know why the notion of Pakistanis cheating is supremely inconceivable and warrants knee-jerk outrage.
even if they did not tamper with the ball, there has to be some definitive conclusion before a board like BCCI will endorse a view. it is far more politically correct and wise for the BCCI to sit back and not take sides. if they have made comments officially siding with the ICC, then that's not good.
what happened to that exact ball? why is it still so ambiguous?

Anyone who was watching the game live would understand the outrage. Sometimes context can provide even more information than you could imagine. It is precisely for this reason that ALL SKY commentators, all seven of them took Pakistan's side in this case.
The match position, lack of any suspicious activity, no extraordinary swing on the ball, the sudden change of the ball without the umpire even approach umpire to inform him let alone warn him, and the arrogant refusal to talk to him when Inzi approached him himself, all these events as they were unfolding form the missing context that is the basis of outrage being shown by so many people. In the case of Pakistanis, we also happen to remember Hair for his overly aggressive and arrogant implementation of the letter of the law and our expectatin that something like this would happen with him on the field sooner or later!
Re: Who is supporting Pak: India decided to support ICC- BD, SL supporting PK
Who needs BCCI's backing? ICC makes its own decisions anyway. But it would have been wise of BCCI to take this opportunity to sack Hair and set a precedent to sack Bucknor in the near future. But those idiots don't think long term.
By the way, have you visited Indian discussion boards on the issue...most replies are full of hate blaming Pakistan. There are a few level headed posts but ...anyway.
Re: Who is supporting Pak: India decided to support ICC- BD, SL supporting PK
Everyone is behaving like GEORGE BUSH ....
Are you WITH US or .....................
I had written right on the first day of this controversy that we should not expect any support from India. There knee jerk reaction is to oppose Pakistan whatever the situation.
Secondly, Hair, called Indian players "monkeys" and they took it without even a protest, so what wud u expect from them.
