I think he is most qualified to know what is really going on in the UN. He was man of his principles as he resigned from his lucrative job in 1998.
If Kofi Annan had sense of dignity he could have resigned rather than be a tool for the USA. But then perks of the office do have the pulling power. Reading all the above about Kofi Annan from his one time colleague does show him to be a not very nice man.

Unless you are saying the prophet disobeyed direct injunctions from the Almighty, you will have to concede that this verse is not telling the whole story.
Furthermore, you have in the past insisted that things should not be taken literally. Given that it can also mean "record books" and "mothers", as you have previously insisted regarding this exact word, perhaps even your very limited justification is unclear as to what exactly we should be aiming for, especially in the absence of context.
