Re: Who are the Ahlel Bayt?
Das, where and when did u discuss Tijiani arguments?

Das, where and when did u discuss Tijiani arguments?
Re: Who are the Ahlel Bayt?
tijani-esque ....its usually what most 12ers talk about like ma mooli wrote few isolated events and skip everything in between and try to reach a conclusion that suits them
they have benn individually discussed
Re: Who are the Ahlel Bayt?
they are all interlinked, i dont go around making excuses for one over the other. tijani or not, you ask me to list the grievences and now you cant be arsed to defend. what gives? my question/accusation were in a general sense to all sunnis, not specifcally aimed are you. so I am not sure why you took it as a personal thing. If its not your view, why are you even here?
Re: Who are the Ahlel Bayt?
ofcourse, you do only look at the **main **events when discussing history. One cant go over everything!!!
You tell him what he has missed and i have to go now as i have a flight to catch. Fi Aman Allah.
Re: Who are the Ahlel Bayt?
^ why shudnt i be here
or do u think that muslims have always be neatly divided into 12ers and sunnis ?
throughout our history there have been a variety of beliefs and schools of thoughts that they followed some no longer existent or popular but that dosent mean they didnt exist or were not valid ...
and these events are part of religion but not fundamental beliefs , so even 2 sunnis cud have difference of opinion on this ...
ofcourse, you do only look at the **main **events when discussing history. One cant go over everything!!! .
really ? then why dont the islamic historians just write about main events and forget everything else ....and main events is a relative term
as 12ers like to forget many main events ( even ones that directly involve ahlulbayt) i hinted a few earlier

Even the historians have not written everything Das. Nobody can!
well, now you are just being critical for the sake of criticism. Most of the Sunnis have very very basic knowledge of just about everything. Shias on the other hand know their faith to a much better extent. That is one reason why you will hear Wahabhi/extremist Sunni warning their people that the Shias practice magic and could come over you with their "magic words".
What events are you talking about? Revoloution of Zaid b Ali? whatelse?
Re: Who are the Ahlel Bayt?
^Pagluu thats quite a ridiculous statement to make. And same goes for mamooli who only wants to discuss topics of her choice. Why you don't discuss doctrines rather than events?
Re: Who are the Ahlel Bayt?
DD, you seem to have missed the context we have been talking in. If you wish to discuss the doctrines then you are welcome lead the way.
Btw, my ridiculous statement was aimed to make a point in showing the dangers of stereo-typing.

nowhere did i say that the rank and file of sunnis are more knowledgable than 12ers ....
and 12ers have no magic words ... its just that 12ers can twist certain events and fool sunnis who are otherwise ignorant of islamic history ..and 12ers are masters of playing victim
anyway i guess we all can be that i remember azam tariq when he was killed his ASSP followers were weeping and beating themselves ( ironically like 12ers )

[/QUOTE]
that comes way later ...take for example apostasy wars and the events surrounding it a huge topic missed and only thing quoted is khalid's extra judicial murder of ibn nuwaira ( as its right up their alley)
then all conquests of syria and persia huge gap ...etc

directly involving the Ahlul Bayt or your kings Das?
Re: Who are the Ahlel Bayt?
my kings lol .... cute ! i know how much 12ers follow ahlulbayt
Re: Who are the Ahlel Bayt?
^ big claims but nothing to show.
Re: Who are the Ahlel Bayt?
^ ur the one who is claiming they are "my kings" where did i show support for these kings ?
bear in mind sayyidna abu bakr /umar are caliphs not kings
Re: Who are the Ahlel Bayt?
^i thought you were going to point to events directly related to the Ahlul Bayt. You came back with wars of the kings!
Whats the differene between a caliph (abu bakr, umar type) and a king?
Re: Who are the Ahlel Bayt?
^ ur blind hatred prevents u from seeing the merits of caliphs like abu bakr and umar
there is no solution to this ...mainstream history ( including that from historians sympathetic to alid cause) is full of their merits and good deeds ( and occassional criticism albiet)
Re: Who are the Ahlel Bayt?
calm down Das. I asked you to show me what merits they have that makes them better than other kings. I guess the answer is quite simple.
Re: Who are the Ahlel Bayt?
^Okay Pagluu, prove to us how was Khilafat of Imam Ali better than that of Hz Abu Bakr and Umer ra.
Re: Who are the Ahlel Bayt?
^Wilayat and leadership of Imam Ali was prescribed by the God and his Messenger. Thus, there is absolutely no comparision between him and the other man-made kings who came to power by deceit, lies, and force.
