Whats your view on ghosts?

Re: Whats your view on ghosts?

Correct. It used to be beautiful...open and vast...breathtaking and mesmerizing. Now, it's a commercial tourist spot with unlimited restaurants and hotels.

There are lesser known cities in the suburbs such as Naldhera and Tattapani where some film shootings take place.

Re: Whats your view on ghosts?

Hostels and schools/ colleges are usually associated with such ghost stories.. why? I do not really have a logic answer to that. I remember having stay with a friend of mine at hers, and around midnight we had power failure.. scheduled load shedding.. and she scared the crap out of me narrating the horror stories of all the stories in vogue in all the girls hostels of different girls colleges at Lahore.. Shakuntla devi at LC, Nadia Masee’h at KC and whatnot :what: :khumar:

Re: Whats your view on ghosts?

gah

ghosts are cool - would love to meet one someday. they dont hurt you - not one incident involved a ghost hurting a human

Re: Whats your view on ghosts?

Hareem I swear to God I saw all that with my own
eyes.
No lies.

Re: Whats your view on ghosts?

Okay, I believe you...I thought it was just a made up story.

Re: Whats your view on ghosts?

You right mirage about hostels schools associated with ghost stories.

Niksik…I was in boarding school in Kodaikanal…run by catholic nuns too. And no shortage of ghost stories either. I remember there was a deserted shack in the back garden which had an association with a ghost gardener..cos we saw no-one there and yet these small bitter apple (crab apples we called them) used to grow seasonally. Our act of defiance was to get into the garden and pluck the crab apples and run out screaming in fear…we were truly scared. And of course the one about “this dorm is built on a graveyard and some child sacrifice was carried out…blah blah”

Re: Whats your view on ghosts?

ive experienced various incidents with ghosts ill tell you those i can remember

once i pakistan i was laying in the bahtock of my cousin just about to sleep, after i lay there a while, a very bright light shines upon my closed eyelids, and i figure its my cousin messing with me, but he is snoring

that happened trough the night and i also heard some weird singing the same night, was a female voice with no females in the house

ive experienced the same bright light near my cousins house at another time when i was sitting outside the gates of a girls school late at night where it was closed, i was sitting with a buddy and was about to smoke a joint, when suddenly bright light shines trough the gate, although nothing and noone was inside the school

oh and here in Denmark ive experienced a quite scary one

when my older brother was younger he had heard a very scary laughter which was clearly in the house and nott from somewhere else, he was with 2 friends and they all figured that it was me that was trying to scare them, although nobody was home

later in my life when i was 16, i was alone in the house for a 1 month, and the first night i recalled that story and got a bit scared, and when i at one point am going towards my kitchen, i heard the exact same laughter that my brother described to me

i ran as fast as i could back to my room, turned on the lights and fell asleep to loud music hehe

Re: Whats your view on ghosts?

I don't believe in ghosts as in the undead. I've been told (and this is what I believe) that what people think of as ghosts are really jins.

Re: Whats your view on ghosts?

It's hard to believe one's ownself at such instances .
I was in bachelors and it was during rammdan that i went to my room and lay on my bed just thinking for the nxt day :) I was resting with my back towards the wall and my legs on the bed. suddenly after sometime , my sister put her hand on my arm , sayin .. uttho , jagoo , dekho , samnay kia hey ?
and i saw something very bright, then i said i don't know , she again whispered , do u see the same thing which i can see ? and i said yes . then
boldly thinking it's becaz of the tv left switched on in the front room , so the light can be seen in the dark , i went to the front room checked out and saw everything switched off , even the plug was out of the extension .

then we switched on the lights of both the rooms and went off to sleep .

Re: Whats your view on ghosts?

LoL!!

Re: Whats your view on ghosts?

IF we are taking GHOSTS as JINS then its a reality....

JINS are a quom....spread the world over and double the population
of the world on visible human beings.

There is this MASJID-E-JIN at Mecca...where the JINS came to our Prophet Mohammed (SAW/Peace Be Upon Him) and interacted on
the religion; ISLAM.

It is said that JINNS are mostly populated at lonely sites with no human populace.

There have been many stories and factual tales on the sighting of JINNS in Pakistan and India....but at remote villages and rarely in cities.

There was this Senior Vice President in UBL many years back...who made his house when Gulshan e Iqbal was at its threshold...and hardly two or three houses were built after the commissioning of the land...

Each morning, his car parked at his garage right in front of the main entrance door, was found parked outside! The driver was questioned, his son was interrogated whether he whisked off the car (DATSUN BLUEBIRD) during the night..etc etc...till one day when the SVP himself was starting his car...he witnessed a person sitting on his car bonnet...clad in white robe and fairly dark with huge eyes...who only pointed out that the car MUST be parked outside...and vanished!

The SVP almost fainted...called in sick at the office and later some Masjid Imam came over and had a detailed round of the house and after 12 hours..re-visited the house and informed the SVP that the garage roof etc., has been built at the site which was home to certain person...and that he has taken umbrage to that.

The garage was re-arranged and the car was parked outside under an asbestos sheeted roof. Since then...the SVP and the family lived peacefully and without an iota of disturbance.

That house is still there...and the sons and their family live there.

Like us ...there are GOOD & NOT SO GOOD cast of the second force created by ALLAH ALMIGHTY out of fire.

If we bother them...they will react. If we dont...they will live as peacefully as us.....

Now having said that...let me also state here...that owing to the fact that the fact of JINNS existence--has also provided adequate material to some miscreants to play with their friends and foes...through some pranks!

Khush rahein.....aur agarr kabhi feeling ho k koi aas paas hai...tou AYAT'UL KURCI.....parhna shroo kardein.

Re: Whats your view on ghosts?

and near death experience. I had some 'near-death' experience while asleep or so I think.

Re: Whats your view on ghosts?

May be this "body" was the hindrance in doing super-natural stuff?

Re: Whats your view on ghosts?

my nightmares have sometimes been of a ghostly presence trying to hurt me but the scariest nightmares have been of when I have sleep paralysis during those times and I try to get myself to wake up out of panic but i'm completely paralyzed and can't even defend myself.

Sleep paralysis is supposed to be quite common but it's so freaky and scary...anybody else been through something like that?
