What I said was that this sort of behaviour is usually seen in "freshies".
And that's what I took offense with. This holier than thou attiude that any behavioral defects are typical "freshy" while BBCDs sit pretty. And we know that obviously aint true.

yeah freshies do that a lot and that's why when a British born did that it made a news so it's quite obvious this behaviour is not common among non-freshies.
And why would you take an offense to that unless you consider yourself a freshy.

I'm not saying who's better and who's not. It's just that there are some traits which are more common in one group. I know a lot of people who come here for a visit would bring leather jackets or silk to sell to make a dosh, doesn't really mean they are bad people.

I respectfully disagree, hareem.
A "freshy", I'm assuming, is an average Pakistani who knows he doesn't stand a chance infront of the authorities unless he has money and power and so he would refrain from creating phadda like this. The treatment that this lady is getting behind bars is very different to what a Pakistani citizen would get because she's a brit - she's the one giving people chitrol, not the other way around!
The chances of a freshy creating trouble and beating people up on let's say Heathrow are quite slim. Would she have done the same if she was in a British airport? She did what she did because of zero respect for the people there, she probably thought of them as being inferior to her.
PS: This isn't about British Pakistanis in general, she sure is one bad apple, I'm talking about her only.

I doubt 'freshies' would do any such thing. For one they recently experienced all the hassle of going through the hectic visa processing and finally ended up getting one. IMO they would be super careful at least in their first few visits to avoid doing anything that could barely get them close to 'jail ki hawa' etc.
Obviously we have a lot of other people who already get there by ilegal means - which would be a completely another story.

I was talking about bringing things here to sell them is a freshy trait, a lot of Europeans do that too.
she slapped someone coz she knew in Pakistan you can get away with that…and I don’t think a** male** british paki would get away like she did.
and no, a freshy isn’t a male average pakistani in pakistan.

I see, I thought you were talking about the trait of slapping people and creating trouble that’s more common among freshies 
And you’re right about people from less developed countries importing things to the developed ones and selling them at a much higher price.
I think on this forum people use the term fob and freshy for Pakistanis in Pakistan along with the fresh off the boat immigrants … at least that’s what I seem to understand.

why would a native Brit go all the way to pak or india to buy some stuff to make some extra £££s?
it's obviously the brit pakistanis with a freshy (not pakistani) mentality, they have seen their parents and relatives do that so they think it's completely okay.
I'm a freshy too but alhamdulilah I don't have the typical freshy mentality coz I'm open to constructive criticism and not ashamed of admitting my or my community's mistakes.

I think freshy mentality is about not treating the country you're visiting or living in fairly as compared to your original country and also a lot of typos but they would differe according to the origin of a freshy.
For example, there is a famous trait about South Asians that they would make their lawns "pakkay" with concrete instead of keeping it green.

Btw, that lady got her tactics completely wrong, she should have just paid them off. Then if she got stopped at Heathrow, it would have obviously been a whole different ball game.

My chachi from Ju-Kay came to visit us here in Ireland and the Brits seized all of the mithayi from her luggage that she was supposed to be bringing for us 
Khotas! They probably thought she was going to sell them, there were only 3 dabbas like 
So yeah they would’ve definitely caught the cigs too!
