so why do British born women do marry into pakistan if they know that its going to be tough to find a compatible match? i can only think of two reasons. 1) Male British pakis are useless & ghetto and 2) Family pressure.

Well. I was replying to a poster who was talking abt british paki women whining due to marrying fobs/men in pakistan.
So I just asked her that even knowing how much difficulties they will have, why do british paki women marry fobs? And I put forward my two guesses.

Yes I can see that ... but your two guesses say nothing about the girls who marry the fobs ... it blames outside factors ... in short you are not blaming the girls for marrying the fobs - you are blaming their circumstances ... i.e. you are saying "if any brit girl marry's a fob it's not her fault her circumstances dictated it" ... Surely, there are some Brit Pak girls who WANT to marry fobs ... surely this is a possible answer ... No?

Well I started with the assumption that a british born and bred girl will NOT be a good match for pure FOB. Assuming the BBCD also shares that view, she would not willingly marry into a pakistani household.

I never made any generalizations about Pakistani or British Pakistani people...my post was meant for a poster who likes dragging life1 guppans into every debate.
What I said was that this sort of behaviour is usually seen in "freshies".
