On an online 11001101011101 world, why would anyone wnt power? I go around seeing the forum and everyones complaining about being a MOD?
LIke honestly, bigger things in life, than being a MOD or something on an ONLINE Forum. WHy are people so serious?
DO you get paid to be a MOD? EVen if so, how much, 500k per month?

The events from this weekend strongly highlight the necessity for a team of moderators. And when you have a team of something, then naturally other people with similar inclinations want to join in too.

Yeah so you provide justice to an E-community, you dont get paid, its not worth it besides the position on this forum, so why is it such a big deal :p

Pay is not the issue here (atleast not for me) but yea...I don't get the deal with people getting excited over being a Mod. I guess people are kinda hungry for power and just want to be known or something. Or maybe its that curiosity that 'how is it like to be a Mod etc'

whats the big deal about being a mod. hmmm it appears ppl are only looking at the negative power mongering type of motivations, maybe it some sort of projection but there are people who appreciate what this site is, what it has done over the years and want to play a more involved role in it and contribute more than they can in their capacity as members.
